"I received a groupon for chimney sweep and ordered one for each fireplace.  I suspected there might be raccoons visiting and was correct.  Jerry and Bill came in and inspected both and discovered they were living (many of them) in my basement flue and fortunately they were not there at the time.  They cleaned and capped both chimneys and disposed of quite a bit of animal fur and other materials. Gross.

They came out on time, called 30 minutes ahead as planned, and took extra effort to get the caps on.  They made recommendations for repair of the wood burning fireplace and suggested not to use it until I was ready to do so.
