He fully inspected our very high chimney and came back with some excellent suggestions for how we could save our fireplace and continue to use it with wood or gas, in addition to fixing our leaking chimney. He had a bid to us very soon. We signed and he ordered the specialize cap. As soon as it came in, he scheduled our installation. It just happened to fall on the hottest day of the year. Our old chimney cap had been sealed and resealed many times, so it was hard to get off, but Ryan persevered with a cheerful attitude. Soon it was off and our beautiful new cap was installed. Then he finished repairing and resurfacing our fireplace. The work was immaculately done. When it was over, he informed me that he had reduce our bill below what he bid it because he did not have to spend as much time on our firebox as he had thought. When does this ever happen? What a guy. This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor (and I am 62 and have owned about a dozen homes)."

He inspected it thoroughly and showed me pictures of what he found: No cracks, just normal wear and tear. The other company wanted me to pay $3000 for a new liner, so we just never did it and therefore believed we could not use our fireplace since then. "My elderly mother needed the roof replaced on my deceased father’s detached workshop, but the first contractor we found through Angie’s List took her twenty-five-hundred-dollar deposit and never performed the work, blaming their failure on Covid before eventually going out of business (we never did get her money back). Obviously, we were very skittish during our second attempt to find an honest and trustworthy contractor with the necessary skills to properly tackle the job. On top of that, the damage to the roof had become severe with a gaping hole developing through the shingles and plywood. We got quotes from a couple different companies, and ASAP stood out, not because of their pricing (which was very competitive), but because as a father and son team, Jack and Chris were sensitive to my mom’s plight. First, in the initial site visit to work up the quote, Jack smelled a natural gas leak coming from the hot water heater as we walked through the utility room of the house. Not sure how long it had existed, as no one else noticed it, but I was able to verify the leak with soapy water and fixed it immediately after Jack left. Once we selected ASAP for the project, Chris offered to come out and patch the hole in the workshop’s roof until the materials arrived and the install could be scheduled. But aside from the speedy progress and quality installation, it was the respect and kindness with which they treated my mom that mattered the most. Never once were her questions or concerns during the job treated as a burden, and her small requests, clearly outside the project’s scope, were handled quickly and cheerfully. We were so impressed with ASAP, that after the roof work, we approved all new T-111 siding and windows for the workshop. When that was done, she signed off on the demolition of the old, dilapidated wooden privacy fence surrounding the backyard, and approved the installation of its replacement. Since that went so well, she decided to have ASAP replace the 30-year-old backyard deck too, and now we’re waiting for materials to come in so the guys can replace the front bay window. Finally, there’s a recently developed roof leak above the den that ASAP is investigating, and I’m certain that if roof work for the house is required, ASAP Construction will get it done."

"Called the company fter seeing name in angie's magazine, recognized it was a family business, and decided to make appt and came out within week. Indicated on service report that lew PMP crown 10 yr warrenty would cost $375, parge coarses to be solid 165.00per courses x2 coarses; 2 holes in smoke chamber @ no charge; reseal flashing for 100.00 amounting to 804.00. After discount, costs was 723.00. I did not get any pictures of work before and after job was completed. <br /> I did not get an estimate from another company at that time and I know I should have gotten at least three for cost of repairs before starting each project. <br /> They were called out after hurricane sandy to fix leak on chimney where concrete had eroded. This was covered under warranty. <br /> <br /> <br />"
