Get matched with top walk in tub installers and replacers in Oakland, CA

"Getting a walk in tub is expensive no matter who you use. My experience thus far is with installation only and I must say my install went great. It has been over a month and no issues with my tub so I cannot comment on repair process with American Standard."

"Al Navarro has done many jobs for us spanning over 20 years. He renovated nearly every room in our previous home and is well on his way to doing the same in our current home. This most recent project was to install nearly 1300 sq feet of luxury vinyl tile flooring over existing ceramic tile... He first spent days applying multiple coats (with smoothing) of a thin mortar over the tile regions to establish a smooth and level base. He also removed all the existing baseboard. On top of the mortar surface he placed a layer of thin plastic sheeting (flooring supplier recommended) and then carefully and methodically laid all the vinyl flooring... He set up his saw arrangement in our garage and custom cut many of the floor pieces to ensure the best look for the new floor... Al is an artist with tools and he even went so far as to use a special saw to cut neatly beneath the door jambs such that the new flooring went under the jamb rather than just up to it... He also did custom work around showers and bath tubs, and around doorways, to offer the best looking transition from the floor to those structures... He then purchased and painted new wide baseboards at his facility and brought them to our home to be cut and installed with great precision. As he has done with all our previous projects, Al did a masterful job of installing this beautiful luxury vinyl flooring over a large portion of our home. We couldn't be happier and we highly recommend Al for this type type of home improvement and for just about any other home interior type project folks might be looking to accomplish!!!!"

"Leo and Tony and Able are wonderful and amazing. They installed new shut off valves throughout the house and the main. New P-traps throughout, power washed all my decks and fixed two leaks on the second floor and repaired the ceiling. The most beautiful work was installing a new bathtub and tile surround. Able is an artist! Leo is so fair and honest and his team just works hard every minute they were at my house. Came when they said they would. Gave me updates. Did additional work that I asked them for. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

"Oscar and his team did an excellent job with the installation of our ipe decks and cement tile patio. We truly appreciated Oscar's guidance as we finalized our unique outdoor design. He took the time to walk us through the various wood options and to explain the pros and cons. They completed our project early and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have a beautiful deck, patio, and pergola, and can't believe it's the same space! We're definitely going to hire Oscar and his team again, when we do more upgrades to our house!! Thank you, S&L Remodeling and Design!!"

"Bay Home Remodeling just finished replacing my tub with a low threshold step-in shower and my standard toilet with a higher, ADA compliant one. Everything came out exactly the way I wanted. I live in a condo so there are limits to what I can change, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Bay Home Remodeling aqgain. Gal, part owner and lead contractor, is a dream to work with: professional and friendly, reliable, honest, clear and accommodating, on and on. He listened to what I wanted, offered a varieties of solutions (after all, he's the expert), checked in daily to make sure his workers were on track, dealt with all the paperwork and inspections needed and generally made my project seamless. Gal and his workers were respectful of my home and were always careful about Covid precautions, never making me feel nervous about them working in my home. Bay Home Remodeling wasn't the lowest bid (it wasn't the highest either), but when you have workers in your home for two weeks+, you want to be confident that the work will be done properly and on time, and want to be on the same page as your contractor. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Bay Home Remodeling."

"Ovation Restoration did an excellent job with our home improvement project. In our master bedroom, to take advantage of a fantastic view, they removed a large window from one wall, sealing it up like new, and installed a similar window on another wall. The work was performed quickly and skillfully, with great results. They also turned the double door leading into that room into a single door, creating more space in the room. Concurrently, in the guest bathroom, the old tub was removed, and a beautiful walk-in tiled shower was installed, along with a window with a fantastic view. The project manager Rick was a pleasure to work with, and his team were all professional, conscientious, and friendly. Everything turned out just as we imagined. We would highly recommend Ovation Restoration."

"My partner and I have had the pleasure of working with Dan, David and the hardworking crew at LB Construction & Remodeling for our what is now an extensive home restoration and renovation project. I cannot express how thrilled I am with the results thus far. From start to finish, their team demonstrated an unparalleled level of knowledge, speed, and attentiveness that truly exceeded my expectations. Truthfully, I didn’t know where to begin with my project, so I was very happy when Angi.com recommended LB. Dan responded quickly and was able to meet me at the house and walk the entire site with me. I had recently purchased my house and it needed extensive repair from years of water damage, including repair and replacement of the wood framing, installation of proper drainage, and foundation work. What truly set Dan and team at LB Construction & Remodeling apart was their willingness to help me hash out the details and various plans for our projects. Dan and David patiently worked with me to explore different options, providing valuable insights and recommendations based on their extensive experience, such as navigating permitting, advising on order of operation. This collaborative approach made me the decision-making process easier and less stressful as I had never done anything like this before. The speed at which LB Construction & Remodeling worked on my projects was truly impressive. They efficiently managed their time without compromising on the quality of their work. Every step of the way, it was evident that they were dedicated to completing the project promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to my daily life. Not to mention their attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship were evident in every aspect of the projects, particularly with the reframing and painting. One of the standout qualities of LB Construction & Remodeling is their exceptional attentiveness. Dan consistently paid close attention to my needs and concerns, making me feel valued as a client. An example of this was when I communicated how I wanted the trim around the windows to look, both inside and out. I sent Dan pictures to illustrate what I was expecting, and he listened to me, verified specifics of my ideas, and walked me through how they would be able to achieve the look easily. Their work was seamless and they captured my vision perfectly. Right from the get-go we felt a sense of trust with Dan and team and that really helped make this entire process enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend LB Construction and Remodeling to anyone seeking a trustworthy and skilled team for their home improvement needs. I am eager to continue our other home projects with LB Construction & Remodeling in 2024."

"I've never done any remodeling to my house or had any work other than the occasional plumber or handyman. When I decided to completely makeover my bathroom, I felt a little overwhelmed. At America's Dream HomeWorks, it is a one-stop-shop. They take care of everything! You go to their incredible showroom and browse through flooring, tiles, quartz slabs, faucets, sinks, tubs, color schemes, etc. and pick out exactly what you want. (You can also go online with your consultant and shop for particular items - I found a hand-painted glass bowl sink and matching waterfall faucets.) The wonderful thing about a one-stop-shop remodel is you don't have to worry about anything. ADH ordered all the materials, brought them to my house, demolished my existing bathroom and took the rubble with them, and scheduled inspector visits. Beware of the lure of lower-priced competitors: I guarantee you their quote will not include everything ADH will do. Do you really want to demolish your own bathroom? Do you want to take the chance on ordering a bathtub that doesn't exactly fit or arrives broken? Your responsibility means it's your dime. Let your remodeler take care of it all. It's a breeze.  During the remodel, Alex and Vlad were extremely neat and tidy. They protected my narrow hallways and beige carpet - and they never complained about my very steep staircase. Imagine lugging a cast-iron tub down the stairs with just two people! Since I'd never done any remodeling before, I expected the noise to be ear-splitting, but the guys were surprisingly quiet. Sometimes I wouldn't hear any activity and, thinking they were on a lunch break, I'd trot upstairs to take a peek at the progress. There they were, hammering away! Construction from my neighbor's house was louder than my own bathroom. I have had a certain style in mind for several years, and now I have my dream bathroom! Everything looks beautiful and I got exactly what I wanted. ADH was professional and very eager and happy to make my remodel experience easy and fun. Particularly during the 2020 pandemic, ADH handled everything very well. My contract from the pre-pandemic months was honored, there were no hidden fees or late penalties, and everything was in-stock and ready to go when the country opened back up again. Phone calls with Julie over the past months, talking with Alex and Vlad at the house every day, it made it seem like ADH was part of the family. This was not the "typical contractor" experience I was expecting. Everyone gave a little extra oomph to make sure I was in love with my bathroom. Thank you!"

"The team was amazing! We had an old deck in our backyard and we hired Palm Construction to replace and extend it and they did a great work! The job was done in less than 2 weeks, Communication was great, they cared about the backyard and plants and we are so happy itâ s all ready just before summer. Highly recommended!!"

"My experience with Trio Heating and Air for my air conditioning installation was exceptional. From start to finish, they demonstrated professionalism and efficiency. The technicians arrived promptly and were well-prepared, guiding me through the process and recommending the perfect system for my home. Throughout the installation, they worked diligently, respecting my space and ensuring everything was installed correctly. Their clear communication and transparent pricing made the experience stress-free. Now, my home is consistently cool and comfortable, and I couldn't be happier with the results."
