John took advice from his wife Mary Kay and mother-in-law and started his own business. Armed with only $200 in working capital and an old rusty truck he purchased from his banker, he set out to serve the heating, air conditioning and overall home comfort needs of Omaha residents. Mary Kay was with him every step of the way, taking phone calls and setting appointments to keep her husband busy.
