Customers say: Quick response

"I rank Landson Construction #1 in the list of contractors we have hired in our 40 years of home ownership. Ari and his team of subcontractors recently completed a challenging remodel of one of our bathrooms--challenging because it is a very small area with limited space. Their finished job looks better than our separate remodel of a larger bathroom completed by one of the big firms that advertises daily on television. Examples: the tile work in our small shower is exceptional, and the vanity/oversized sink is a perfect match that does not dominate the small room. Ari Erickson (no relation to me) offered selections from his preferred vendors, but we had full latitude to shop on our own for all tile and fixtures. He and his subcontractors kept us fully apprised at all stages of the project, arrived promptly throughout the course of the work, responded promptly to our texts and emails, and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. My highest recommendation: I always seek at least four bids for a major project, but I would forego that process and hire Landson Construction again for future building/remodeling projects, and would encourage friends and family to do the same."

"From quote to finish, working with Craftsmen Home Improvements was a fantastic experience. This was my first major house project as a new(ish) homeowner, and I was nervous. I chose Craftsmen because Jim Kosloski was one of the only salesmen I talked with whom I felt was being straight with me, their exceptional labor warranty, and their emphasis on customer service. They were not the cheapest quote, but I figured that working with a company that will make sure the customer is well taken care of and backs its work for a lifetime was worth a little extra. I was not disappointed! Ellie Palmer was my Project Manager and she was incredible. She was in constant communication during the project, making sure I knew what was going on, resolving any issues (ex: the regular supplier was out of the shingle I wanted so she found it somewhere else), and answering all my questions. Her responsiveness was next level. They were spot on with their timing and everything and everyone showed up and left when they were supposed to. Everyone I interacted with from the crews was friendly and helpful. The clean up was great and the results look amazing. Even my neighbors were impressed! There were a couple minor issues along the way, but they were all fixed quickly, with no fuss, and at no extra cost. I couldn’t be happier and, with windows and siding projects in my future, I’m sure I’ll be calling Craftsmen again."

"The EZ home team provided a good home construction experience. Having not been through the process of an insurance claim remodel, EZ Home provided a plethora of information of what to expect and how to traverse the process. We were exceptionally impressed with the teams ability to successfully negotiate additional work to be covered from our insurance company to properly repair our home. The actual construction was straight-forward. The teams performed well and made sure to clean the areas following construction each and every day on-site. Work was completed in a timely-manner. Overall, the EZ Home Solutions team is a great example of a good home construction company. You should know your investment is well-placed in hiring them."

"Overall, the project went very well, We are happy with the quality of the work and the result. The plans were creative, and we were happy with the design selections and guidance. There were a few unexpected changes to layout due to structural constraints, which resulted in a less efficient flow. The cost of change orders were not clearly explained prior to execution. The contractor was very hands on and at the job site extensively, and she was easy to get a hold of. The carpenter was not available to work on the project on Fridays, which did extend the project timeline. The contractor pointed out repairs/improvements that needed to be made to bring the home up to code. This added cost, but was necessary and appreciated."

"Vail Builders, and Jim Vail, get my highest recommendation. They have the contacts to get the job done - they repeatedly got subcontractors to come in at just the right time to keep the project on schedule during challenging winter conditions. Their commitment to quality is unwavering, and even an offhand observation by me of some imperfection would result in a fix. They even helped clean up an issue I caused. Jim and his staff were a pleasure to work with throughout the 6 month project, and the sub-contractors he uses are proven resources. Our "greenfield" project had many moving parts, and Vail Builders managed the project well. I'd recommend them for anything from a full new large build to a cabinet installation."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Princeton, MN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
