I was satisfied with the (one-time) mosquito treatment they did -- it was effective in getting rid of the massive amounts of mosquitos that had been in my back yard due to previous residents letting the garden get very overgrown. I'm only giving a 3 because I think the service was descent, but just average. They could've earned more stars by (1) sending a text message or email to confirm the appointment date/time that we'd agreed on over the phone; (2) coming on time for the appointment, or at least sending a status update about the ETA; (3) providing some instructions about when it's safe to go into the yard after having sprayed the chemicals, or when I can water the lawn next post-treatment -- I came outside to say hi and try to speak to the guy who came, but he never turned off the blower to say a word to me -- just sprayed then left; and (4) having a less confusing payment process (When I booked, they took my credit card info so I assumed it was pre-paid, but then got an invoice after the service had been completed, which gave the impression I was being double-billed -- they were quick to explain that they took my credit card info but never charged yet, so it wasn't a problem -- but the process could've been more efficient.)"

"Calvin was who called me back and he said in order for them to come out and give me a service I would have to sign an agreement that I would continue with them for a year. When I asked what happens if I'm not happy with the job, Calvin said it would be no problem to discontinue. Well, I wan't happy with the job, though the tech that came out to service our home was very nice and professional. However, it did not take care of my pest problem so after 2 tries I cancelled. Now they are saying I have to pay a disconnect fee per the agreement. I told them what I was told and all they would say is "I apologize." Clearly this is a rehearsed line that they've told others. I would have to say that this is a dishonest company. Saying what it takes to get the job and then holding you responsible for their poor work. I am a bit cautious to say the least to go with Angies again if this is whom they are recommending."

"Cost over 3k for attic insulation and to plug some holes and I still had mice long after they left. I was forced into signing a year long contract for them to come quarterly, which cost me over $100/month, and they never actually replaced traps or sprayed for anything. The guy asked me where the traps were, and he was the same guy who laid the traps to begin with. Really? I canceled the contract and still had to hire someone else for my pest control solution (use Brody Brothers instead, they're amazing). The mice didn't fully leave until I got a cat. So, get a cat and save your money. Leaving my car running in my closed garage killed the mice that escaped out there. I will never use Senate again. Absolute waste of 4 thousand dollars. "

About a year ago, I was convinced by a salesman of the company that the scratching noises I was hearing in my house were caused by mice roaming around in the walls of the house. I spent over $12,000 and took on a $150 quarterly maintenance plan to get rid of the mice. The company replaced all insulation in my attic and other areas. Also, the company told me they sealed all holes that the mice might use to enter the house. Over the past year, I have complained repeatedly about the mice still roaming around in my house. Most times, an agent would come to the house, look around the outside and place glue traps in areas inside the house. These are amateurish actions I could undertake myself. Recently, I complained by letter to the owner of Century, Mr. Brett Nunn, about my mice problem. Mr. Nunn did not respond to my letter."

The provider charged over $4k plus $185 every three months but did not install traps to catch rodents. The customer does not want them to return and reports the basement is in disarray, contributing to the ongoing issues."
