"They were very professional when interviewing them but had to wait two months for them to start. Work was very sloppy and complained about moving outside the refrigerator. Had a problem with the sealer. Finally came back a month later to fix it. Left black marks from the machine on the lanai floor. Sent wife back to fix the problems and left the floor in worse shape than before. I sent them a long email and eight pictures and have not heard from them since. Had to hire another company to come and repair the mess."

"I found this company to be very responsive to my needs. I had to postpone the coating on my walkway and my pool deck 4 times because of bad luck weather and a hurricane. close to 2 year before it was completed but not the companies fault. it was stupid IAN hurricane. They allowed 2 days to complete the job. and they used both days. They drove from Venice to Ft Myers beach each day. 5 guys were prepping the pool surface for hours. They had everything they needed and really did allot of work to get surface ready for the coating. Plastic was hung over every door and window. so no dust entered my home. over the pool they laid a huge tarp and taped it to the pool inside wall. same with hot tub. I had lots of surface cracks they were all ground and filled. I hade a special slotted drain i wanted installed just perfect in the floor and they did what I asked until it pleased me. on day 2 the product was applied in 3 coats and they rolled the surfaces 6 separate times. and they sprinkled no slip aluminum sulfate on the surface. its like sand. Cleanup was very complete. they vacuumed up everything. pulled all the plastic out and left a very nice job behind. I am leaving so much detail because i wanted to convey how through of a job the crew did. when they left they put yellow caution tape around so no neighbors left tracks on my new surface. The job they did was beyond my expectation. and after such a good experience I will be using them again. My pool guy wants to use them and my 2 neighbors. I will be leaving picture of my new specked blue pool deck and outside walkway."

"WARNING: DAN IS THE BIGGEST LIAR, HE WILL PROMISE ANYTHING UNTIL HE GETS THE MONEY. We hired DANN FROM PREFERRED POOL AND PAVERS (PPP) to install a paver driveway and walkways to the front of our house and the backyard. Within a month we started experiencing problems with the installation and the quality of the pavers. 1) The pavers we ordered are called MEGA SMOOTH. We have pictures of the driveway that show how NOT SMOOTH, uneven the pavers were installed; 2) The aggregate in the pavers is popping out causing holes and the pavers are degrading, 3) The pavers are moving and separating causing large gaps, 4) 2 types of pavers, "Mega Smooth" and Mega Stone" were intermixed in the installation. We were told the difference in the pavers was Mega Smooth is a 3 piece paver and Mega Stone is a 2 pc paver. This is not true, the shape/texture is very different. PPP made several unsuccessful attempts to repair the problems. New pavers were ordered to replace defective pavers, but PPP, nor the factory, could communicate what the quality standard is for the pavers to determine which pavers would be replaced from a factory defect. Also, when the first pallet of replacement pavers arrived, it was the wrong color. PPP disappeared after this. Finally, the pavers were never sealed. I BELIEVE IN KARMA AND I KNOW WHAT YOU GIVE ALWAYS COMES BACK. DAN YOU STOLE MY $20000. HERE ARE A FEW OF MANY PICTURES OF WHAT I MENTIONED ABOVE. THESE ARE 2 MONTHS AFTER THE INSTALLATION AND YOU HAVE SEEN THIS FIRST HAND. THEY WOULD BE PERFECT FOR YOUR WEBSITE SO EVERY ONE CAN SEE YOUR HORRIBLE WORK. DAN ENJOY MY $20000 UNTIL KARMA HITS."

"Only did about one third of the work- could not complete without me signing a waiver relieving them of any damage done to my pool surface. This was not mentioned until after approximately one third or less of the work was completed. Management was condescending and unwilling to negotiate as they wanted half of the contracted money and barely completed one third of the contract. None of the issues we hired them to correct were fixed and I have zero confidence the pool deck is actually stabilized as they claim since the technician stated to me the day he was there that he could not complete stabilization without injecting more foam which he could not do without possibly damaging the surface of my pool. After paying them more than $3,200.00 it looks worse than it did before they showed up. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!"

"We engaged Tropical Outdoor Solutions through our landscape architect for a total renovation of the exterior of our property. In addition to replacing nearly all plantings, our project involved laying new drainage pipes and installing entirely new irrigation and lighting systems. The results were at best disappointing. In many cases, Tropical was unable to obtain prescribed plantings, necessitating unsatisfactory substitutions. Some of these were so small that they stood little chance of surviving, including two trees that looked more like none too healthy saplings. Plantings were unevenly spaced in many places. Failure to level the ground after excavation created uneven turf. Sod was laid blocking two gutter drainage outlets. No irrigation was provided for an area of shrubbery. Metal edging had to be revised several times. Landscaping of a small atrium, part of the original plan, was never done. Tropical told us that the project would take about three weeks; instead, it dragged on for many more. The project lacked adequate supervision and monitoring of the work by senior personnel. Several requested adjustments were either not carried out or ignored completely. The attitude and behavior of some members of the crew were distressingly unprofessional We have spent the last several months trying to correct these problems, necessarily incurring yet more expense and time lost. We entrusted a six-figure job to Tropical Outdoor Solutions but were left with an incomplete and suboptimally executed realization of a carefully designed plan. We certainly would not recommend Tropical Outdoor Solutions for carrying out sizable landscaping projects."

He listened to what we wanted to do, made a few suggestions and came up with a couple of great ideas as the project progressed. They completed the job on time and also cleaned up after each day's work. We would use Green Hornet Landscaping again and would definitely recommend them."
