"From the moment we first met with Josh and Katy from WJB construction to discuss the remodeling of our fifty-two-year-old bathroom, my husband and I knew that they were the contractors for us. Five things impressed us about them, 1.) They listened to us as we described our vision for the extensive remodel and the need for our bathroom to be able to withstand heavy use yet also be a beautiful rejuvenating space in our home, 2.) They responded to all our questions and concerns, setting up a text chain for any issues that would come up, 3.) They assured us of their help and support every step of the way— from ordering materials (giving us a contact list of retail outlets), and 4.) They were accountable —a work schedule with flexibility on our end and frequent visits to track job progress or for any needed changes, and, most importantly, 5.) They promised quality work and the best materials—they would not use the cheapest material nor do half an effort on the labor. These five qualities shown us by WJB Construction gave us the confidence to continue with our bathroom renovation. As a daughter whose father was a fourth-generation carpenter, I knew we had picked a construction company that we could depend on to give us the bathroom of our dreams. And WJB Construction delivered! Our bathroom more than meets our needs and is a beautiful refreshing space in our home. Thank you, Josh and Katy!"

All Cal General Construcrion worked hard and made sure I was part of the process in every way. They answered all my questions, took the time to show me everything and explained the process to its entirety. The entire experience from the moment they started until the very last day was fantastic! I 100% recommend them and will definitely be my first call if I ever need anything in the future! The entire team was professional, punctual, and efficient. They went above and beyond to make the process smooth and less stressful! I am beyond thankful and very pleased with the work they did! "I was referred to Juan Ramirez by my aunt and have been very satisfied with the work he’s done small and large. Juan has been honest and upfront about costs and comes very close to the estimates he gives. He shows up when he commits and communicates promptly if there’s going to be delays and for how long. Juan has a good eye for detail and creative problem solving. We absolutely love the new roof he put up for us and the clean up afterwards was a big plus. He’s done work on our cottage and has mended fences and other various contract work. He’s quite versatile and has also been a resource for reliable and affordable leads on work he doesn’t do. Not too mention very sweet and patient with my toddler who wants to “help”! Honestly Juan and his partner Jose have been a godsend and we plan on using them for any construction and maintenance work going forward."

"First a quick run through. I called 3 contractors for bids. JZ Construction, Northwest, and Clovis Glass. Clovis Glass only deals Milgard and I didn't have a problem with that and they were the lowest bid. Now that being said Milgard has a D- rating with the BBB. So, I decieded to go with Anlin and I'm not unhappy at all. Northwest was cheaper by about 1k  than JZ and they were also willing to install a full window where a door was previously and JZ wouldn't do that. So, Northwest it was.     <br />     The salesman James was helpful and didn't try to lay the b******* to thick and was able to answer all my questions. Two contract crews came out because I asked them to get everything done in one day and they did. I thought the crews did a very good job and were polite and cordial. They were able to get everything done and clean it all up and replaced all the blinds and made it look great. <br /> The only issue I had was that a window was broken upon initial delivery and they said it would be replaced in a couple of weeks and two weeks go by and I haven't heard anything. So, I give James a call and he took care of the issue for me and a couple of days after that a new window was finally installed <br />     Except for the blunder I thought everything was fine and my wife and I love our new windows! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Selma, CA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
