"Martel replaced our hot water heater four years ago (in less than 24 hours on Fourth of July weekend, no less) and I noticed today that it had started to leak. I called in to their office at 11:15 am spoke with a very kind and friendly woman who transferred me to Jeff. I left a message and had a call back in less than an hour. The heater was still under warranty, they had one in stock and the technician, Mike, was at the house in less than an hour and by 2pm the job was done! I have always had more than amazing experiences with Martel, but this one takes the cake. Jeff was very informative and helpful in diagnosing the issue and Mike was an absolute pleasure to have working in my basement. If you are looking for a stand-up company for any of your plumbing and heating needs, do not hesitate to call the friendly folks at Martel!"

"Excellent, from the time of the phone call. I had called another service first and after a couple of days of not hearing back, I called E&E. Left a message and within the hour, they returned my call. I let them know I had an event planned for almost 100 people at my house for that weekend and asked if there was any way they could come before then (this was on a Tuesday). The woman I spoke to was VERY nice and accommodating and got me in within 2 days. They showed up as promised and took care of the job. Excellent service - highly recommend"

"We were closing on the sale of our house and the inspection report required a repair and pumping of our system. The closing hinged on us getting it repaired. I had used Bodwell’s a number of years ago but wasn’t sure if they could squeeze us in since they were so busy. They went above and beyond to get us done. The owner Tim even came out to do the pumping and repair! A few days later we were able to close on the house. Couldn’t have done it without their professionalism. I would definitely recommend them."

"Be careful when reaching out to this company. I was charged an emergency fee to have someone come give me a quote - between the quote itself and the emergency fee I paid $350 and didn't even consider hiring them to do the job (water heater replacement) because their price was almost twice as high as what I ended up paying (and significantly higher than all other vendors I received quotes from). One incredibly helpful person from another plumbing company that I talked to said I was the second young lady THAT DAY who he'd heard from who felt taken advantage of by the way they charged that emergency fee, which felt very shady. When I initially reached out to Rowell's to let them know I was unhappy with the situation they didn't even bother responding. Then when I let them know as a courtesy that I would be disputing the credit card charge and posting a review so nobody else feels cheated like I do, they responded immediately but basically said they did nothing wrong. The company I ended up using was Squam Lake Plumbing and they were fantastic. Robert Bell from Robert Bell Plumbing was also incredibly helpful and kind. Both great options, just don't go with Rowell's."
