"First rate! Arrived on time and worked non-stop until work was finished. Had a water leaks on the ceiling below two bathrooms in the garage, plumbers had to cut out several pieces of sheetrock in order to access the drainpipes. Nixon and his crew replaced the insulation and the sheetrock. They had to work around the garage door opener, the space was very tight. The ceiling looks like new, I am very pleased with the result. Also replaced a missing piece of sheetrock in the wall, and insulated a coldwater pipe without my asking."

They were constantly communicating with us during the entire process to discuss ideas and confirm the plan / our vision for the space. They treated our home as though it was their own, taking care not to damage other areas during the work and also cleaning up after every day was completed. We also decided to install a new slider to our deck where one didn't exist before. Adam helped in confirming the size to be ordered and they did another great job. We unexpectedly found some rot on the house during the slider project. They were able to come up with a solution to repair it that didn't inconvenience us and it prevented a huge problem developing later. "Jeff White might be the best contractor that I have ever hired. I had hired another contractor to install a sliding glass door - and after several postponements lasting a month - the prior contractor stopped returning my calls and e-mails. It was frustrating as the door was sitting in boxes in my garage and I was back to square one. I found Jeff through Home Advisor (first time I used this service) and he called me back within minutes of my contacting him. When I decided that I wanted him to come over to give an estimate - he showed up the same day to look at the job. He then had the written estimate and certificate of insurance to me within days. Terry, his assistant, also contacted me making sure I had received the contract. His crew installed the door shortly thereafter. In addition, they also replace the wood trim work and painted it. There was a small glitch with re-installing the alarm and he promptly fixed it. They cleaned up the work area and got rid of the old door and all the boxes from the new door. Although he had a crew of two men do the actual installation , Jeff showed up both days that they were here to get them started and to answer any of my questions. The door looks great - and it is so much better leading to the deck than sitting in my garage! So happy I found him and will use him again."

"Timber did a good job painting the areas requested and was very professional in his work ethic and skill. He also did small repairs to hallway wall. Scheduling was a bit sketchy, but he was very eager to please. Rating would have been higher but I saw the same deal from the company advertised on AL for approx. $100 lower in price shortly after my purchase, I was not pleased knowing others had received a better deal than I had. I'm not sure whether this was an Angie's List scheme or something agreed to by the business. Either way, I'm a bit skeptical to hire through Angie's List after this occurred. The business owner told me that he had not agreed with AL to the lesser advertised price. So all in all, pleased with the work completed, but not at all with the advertising."
