"I have done a lot of home renovation projects in the past, and I wish ALL contractors were like Mike. From start to finish of this ENORMOUS project, Mike was amazing to work with. He showed up when he said he was going to show up, he responded promptly to emails and texts, and he remembered all of the little details that we discussed along the way. His estimate was accurate and included all of the components that we talked about, and then we made some adjustments to the original estimate, which were also perfectly captured. And on top of all that, his quote/estimate was one of the most reasonable ones that we received (and we got 6 quotes). He was so knowledgeable with the information and advice that he provided, and I had complete trust that he would do a superb job. We had to move out of the house while the work was ongoing. He kept in touch the entire time, providing updates regularly. I never doubted that things were going well and according to plan. He had a team of two additional guys and they were also very pleasant and very hard working. And the work that was done was unbelievable quality. It looks so beautiful - a complete transformation of the home! In addition to the flooring, we paid Mike to install new 6 inch baseboards, which was a great addition. I would recommend Mike and Universal Flooring to anyone who is considering new hardwood floors or any flooring work for that matter. We will certainly use him again in the future if ever needed. The two floor installers arrived on time, they were very polite, stayed on task and did an EXCELLENT job!!  Their attention to detail is commendable.  They cut everything to fit perfectly to the molding and around pipes. Their fine workmanship came through in everything they did; it really showed how much they cared about the job they were doing. They cleaned up as they went and again at the end! The floor came out beautiful! "Gabriel and his dad showed up within one hour on a late saturday afternoon after the asdist gen contractor literally dropped the ball on the carpet installation appointment. Gabriel was professional pleasant and awesome. He got me a quick quote. He litetaaly made a nightmare into an easy solution. So anyone that says they cant get people to show up or work your mistaken. Gabriel was called on a late saurday and carpet was picked up and installed by tuesday. They are wonderful."

"The grout around the old 4-inch tiles in our little bathroom could not handle the use from 5 people. It was always so hard to clean—beyond help. I couldn’t stand it but I didn’t want a big extensive job because we hope to do a bigger renovation someday. Joe was responsive and listened to what I wanted: nothing fancy—just a solution for now that will be functional and easy to maintain. I don’t like when people try to upsell and there was none of that with Joe. Treating the tiles and installing the tub surround was the right solution for us and he came within a few days. I called him because he was recommended on my community Facebook page so I feel confident. Nice guy and I would definitely call him again. Price was good and I really appreciate that he listened to what I wanted. He told us everything is guaranteed and if we have any issues to call him right away and not try to take care of it ourselves. I doubt there will be issues but it feels good to know that I don’t have to hesitate to call. He also told me how to take care of the surround (no scrubbing! Yay!) and thanked me for the opportunity to work on our bathroom. :)"

"They were excellent to work with giving us a complete detailed estimate for each of our 3 projects including all of our allowances. Including agreed upon payments schedules for each. They communicated schedules and any adjustment to those schedules, which were all minor. They cleaned at the end of each day of work to keep the dirt down to a minimum. As we did 3 different projects, each with their own contract, if we had not been happy with the first or second we obviously would have not continued to work with them. Friends of ours recommended Superior K&B and we are completely satisfied with their work, including their selected sub-contractors."
