"Oh we can't say enough about Rueben and his crew.. the work was top notch and talk about craftsmanship, there is no comparison.. we were on a budget and they came through and made everything work. We had a sunroom and bath added to our h ome and we just love them. The crew of guys were always very polite and just a great group of young men doing the best job we could of imagined. Ruben was always on top of the job, making sure things were done right. He came every day to check on his crew and asked if we had any concerns. So on that note if you need any construction on your home or business give this company a call, you won't be sorry."

"Got project started and finished exactly when they said they would. They were there early in the morning, and they worked hard all day, sometimes until 6pm."

"I submitted a review yesterday and learned today that price point and quality of service were given an "F" . I apologize for whatever I did to cause this rating to appear; it is inaccurate.  The price point does not apply, yet; our project needs more realistic planning on our part.  The rating for quality of service should be "A" for three levels of initial customer service.  Hopefully the two responses will be merged.  Anyone planning a project that can benefit from the services of a General Contractor, will do well to consider the services of Darcy Bean Construction."

"The tearoff was difficult due to the 3 layers that were on the house. The job was done very neatly in a timely fashion with minimal disturbance to our landscape. They completed the work in less than two weeks and the final result was a very nice looking roof. They also took great care not to damage our siding and windows in the process. They covered attic contents with plastic sheating to collect much of the debris that fell in. Mr. Ritter and his wife were extremely accomodating and pleasant to work with. Their employees were also very courteous to us. They readily took on a few extra add-ons with very fair prices. The only thing that they might improve upon would be sweeping the lawn for nail pickup- they missed a lot. In summary, I highly recommend them and would use them again in the future."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Villa Grove, IL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
