He did an excellent job and moved all the necessary furniture, vacuumed the rug, sprayed mold repellant on the wall and carpeting, and sprayed Kilz on the ceiling to cover all the water stains."

"<p>Solon Freeman came to my house quickly to give me an estimate for replacing carpet in 3 bedrooms.  He brought samples and was very knowledgeable and professional.  I was able to get my carpet installed the following 2 Saturdays.  The installers arrived about 15 minutes earlier than scheduled time, had me check carpet to make sure it was what I ordered, and began moving my furniture.  They were very careful and really knew how to move it without any damage.  They pulled up old carpet and swept floor before installing pad.  I asked them to also sweep after pad was installed and they did.  After carpet was installed they vacuumed it. The furniture was placed back where I wanted it.  They helped me place covers on my mattress/box springs.  The same men came the next Saturday.  So, they installed the other two bedrooms doing everything as I had asked previously.  No mess was left anywhere after both installations.  Great customer service!</p> <br />"

"Fred showed up as scheduled and provided good information on the cleaning process for the type of rug we were cleaning. The carpet came out looking like new but there were some remnants of pet odors left in the rug after cleaning. <br /> If you have pet stains,  I would suggest specifically indicating the area(s) and requesting deodorizing for the rug. <br />"

"After scheduling an estimate Tom came out and took a look at the job. We got a quote for nail-down 3/4and quot; hardwood floors. We called later and also asked for a qote for glue-down engineered floors. Either were to be installed on the concrete slab. In the case of the 3/4and quot; hardwood, we would have them also install a plywood subfloor. We opted to go for the glue down 3/8 engineered hardwood. When it came to product selection, this is where there was a lot of problems in communication. <br /> 1. Don't e-mail the company if you expect a timely response. I had to call several days later and ask if they did receive my email which they would then go hunting for. <br /> 2. Their website has a virus somewhere - I was directed to look at the website for product selection, and every time I clicked around on images, I would get a virus alert. <br /> Once we agreed on a product that could be installed in the time-frame we wanted, we scheduled installation. The tear-out was done in one day, which was impressive since they were removing 3 different types of flooring, including a marble salb and mud-bed in the entry way ~150 sqft. <br /> There was some additional leveling that needed to be done on the existing floor, which was verbally communicated but not on the initial quote and ended up adding about $700 to the final bill. It needed to be done, but when I was told it would be and quot;a few hundredand quot; to do this, I was expecting more like $300-400. <br /> When I again spoke to Tom about the front door, which would now have a 2and quot; gap underneath (from removal of previous flooring), he expressed that the initial job quote was for a nail down floor and that he didn't know why we were doing an engineered hardwood (3/8and quot;). I let him know that the gap was planned and we were getting a new door, and had planned for this. However my problem in this line of communication was as follows: <br /> If this was his and quot;joband quot; then why did he not know what was happening on it. The sales person in the front office, Leslie, actually told me she had spoken with Tom when we were selecting a product and steered us away from a 3/4and quot; nail-down floor because of a different door that would be too low (not enough clearance from the floor). In fact she assured me that a 3/8and quot; floor was the maximum thickness we could use. <br /> After the floors were leveled (using a self-leveling concrete), the floors were installed over a 2-day period. When I spoke with Tom, I let him know that on the final day of installation that I would be out of town, and I would prefer that the key to my house not be tossed under the door mat. He assured me that they would hold onto it. However when I returned from being away, I found the key under the mat. <br /> Overall, the flooring and care that went into installation was good. While I did not like the extra expense of leveling the floor, I'm glad that they took the time to do it. However, the communication to the customer and within their respective sales, jobsite manager, and work crews is poor. <br />"

"Couldn't be more pleased with Kiser's. Hunter Kiser was very helpful. Came to my house with carpet samples and measured the space. Called with estimate in a couple of days. Were able to schedule installation immediately. Workers were professional and did quality work.Called afterwards to be sure we were satisfied and even threw in a very nice "thank you" gift for using them. Highly recommend!! <br /> <br />"

"They were straight "A"s. They came out to do the estimate. He went around the room and took measurements and put them in a computer. He went back and sent the estimate into Lowe's carpeting and flooring department. They called me, and I came in. They went over it with me. I accepted the price. We scheduled a time for them to come out. They came out, ripped out the old carpet and padding. They installed the new carpeting and padding. It took one day; about six hours. They did a really good job. They did a really good job of making the seam. Carpets for a wider room, you have to make a seam. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled off all of the removed carpeting and padding. There was a couple of places where they had to add new tact strips to the stairs. This was all upstairs carpeting. The contractor's that built the house didn't do a good job on the tact strips on the stairs, so they installed new tact strips."
