"Worst Electrician ever. The guys name is Chris. Here is why you should not hire him: 1- He said his helper did not show up to work and needed help. I had to help him remove lights. I told him it was unprofessional. 2- He could not screw in bulbs or the glass around the bowls. He told me his hands were too big. I had to do it. 3- He complained constantly about the lights while throwing the F bomb. 4- I pulled out one of the lights. He did not connect the white wire that completes the circuit. Now I have to hire someone to inspect the work he did. After all that he wanted the entire amount of the estimate. I told him I had to help him with all the hanging lights. He complained and complained. I got to the point where I was sick of him and wanted him out of my house. I wrote him the check just to be done with him. DONT HIRE HIM! "

Reaidents noticed lights flickering folllwed by smoke in the electrical panel. We called Robby the owner who was completely unprofessional, i only explained what was happening and he jumped saying he is master engineering that he did not do anything wrong , called me with lots of inappropriate words. "If your job requires permit do NOT allow Benj Electric to work on the project before he gets the permit approved. I needed a panel for a mini-split, contacted Benji thru Angi's list. He charged $742 and came to my home to work on the panel. When I asked him about the permit, he said that he would request the permit afterwards, that it wasn't a problem (actually, it's illegal and the city can fine the contractor as well the home owner - I I've learned it the hard way). He then requested the permit, which was declined by the city for an issue was caused by another contractor. The problem was fixed and I contacted Benji asking him to reapply for it, I even offered him to pay any fees incurred. He kept pushing me around for a couple months, only excuses, "I'm busy", "Do it tonight", and so on, then he stopped communicating. Now I'm with an illegal electric panel. How to correct the mess he did? I may have to start from scratch, but this time hiring a reliable professional."
