"The work I asked JP General Construction to undertake was the demolition of a 40 year old concrete in-ground swimming pool that was far past its prime. "The work was done well overall, but I had to remove some large concrete pieces from the sloping areas around the edges. The original diggers had buried these close to the surface, which would have made landscaping impossible. This was not Jerry's fault, as they did not follow his instructions to break these up, and add them to the substrate rock under the patio base. There were delays due to the very bad weather, out of his control, but the re-scheduling needs could have been communicated better, in my opinion."

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

"I have a 28 year old asphalt driveway that needed to be resurfaced. He was prompt providing a quote at a fair price compared to three others. His crew did one day of prep work consisting of digging out crumbled/cracked areas and edging the entire 300' driveway. The next day they applied 2" of asphalt and did a perfect job with great attention to detail. Then they cleaned up the whole area and it looks great. Richard Golobo and his crew have my highest recommendation. I could not be happier with the whole job."

"Falls Church Paving did a great job. Overall, they delivered on what was proposed. The company was easy to contact. Estimator came to the property promptly and wrote the proposal. Work was scheduled and the crew completed the work in an expedient manner. The prep work was completed better than expected with minimal impact to yard surrounding the drive. Could not see any seems in the paving. Interface with the driveway and the street were exact (no gaps). Driveway was water tested to ensure proper drainage. Crew completed all the hand tamping and left the work site with no issues. Hard to tell they just finished paving the entire driveway. My driveway was widened, repaved, and is now beautiful (interesting adjective, but it really is beautiful)."
