"When considering firms to finish our basement, we met with and obtained quotes from 5 building contractors.  What struck my
wife and I about Jason Jumper (Blue Mountain Building and Remodeling Inc) was his vision for the project.  My children, 5 & 7 were running around during the meeting, and he seemed to feed off of them.  I mentioned the basement?s primary use was to serve as a play room for the kids, with an entertainment area for family movies etc.  He took the time to listen to our ideas and he was able to make suggestions based on his experience.  Watching the kids playing around, he suggested creating a ?fort area? including a small kid-sized door to access the area under the stairs.  
The other firms we met with either came to our home with their own ideas on how they wanted us to do the project, or did not seem trustworthy, or the cost was through the roof.
After selecting Blue Mountain Building and Remodeling Inc., Jason Jumper was able to provide an accurate timeframe for the project.  The speed and productivity of his team was impressive, but the quality of the work was PHENOMENAL.  We simply cannot say enough about the quality of the work and the attention to detail.  There were several very minor things we
noticed that were not perfect, but we figured it was not a big deal.  However, THEY made sure to point those (very minor) things out to us, and discussed what they were going to do when redoing the work.  These were small things that most contractors would not address.  For example, there were small areas where the paint wasn?t perfect because the paint was drying too fast.  Instead of touching up just those areas, they applied an entire new coat of paint throughout the entire basement, so everything was uniform.  There were even a few minor changes or additions that my wife and I wanted to incorporate that were not initially a part of the plan.  They addressed those items with no issues, and the end result was perfect.
This project literally went off without ANY issues.  The team working at the house was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.  The quality of the work completely exceeded our expectations.  And the price was definitely on the lower end of the quotes we received.  We cannot say enough great things about our basement and the work Jason?s team did.  I will gladly serve as a reference for Blue Mountain Building and Remodeling Inc moving forward and will certainly use them for any future home improvement projects.

"We consulted with Robert Horne Contracting to remodel a very dated bathroom for us. From the start, they were very communicative from when he'd have the estimate (we ended up getting that earlier than anticipated) to picking out fixtures to start date. As with any old house, there were some challenges with hidden things which added to the tasks needing to be performed. He told us about those as they came up and gave us the very reasonable estimates, if the issue required extra work. He was able to remove the build-out above the sink and rework the plumbing to vastly open up that space giving the appearance of a bigger, roomier room. We did a walk-through and got written confirmation of our punch list items. He gave us a date of when he'd be out to complete the odds and ends and was there promptly on the given day. We are very satisfied with the work he performed and especially with the communication. We never once wondered when he'd be there or what was going on with products being delivered, etc. We are very happy customers!"

"I had used them before for a remodeling job and was pleased with their work. That was why I purchased the Big Deal coupon because I had several jobs planned. However, their estimates for the other jobs were too high in comparison to other bidders, so I chose to have them do the smaller ceiling fan job in order to use the coupon.
I have no complaints about the quality and professionalism of their workers. The complaint I do have is their estimates and billing are not itemized with costs. I have no idea whether the Big Deal coupon actually saved me anything.
Two workmen arrived to do the job. One went up in the attic to cut  the installation location in the living room ceiling and install a junction box and bracing. Then the wallboard was cut to install the outlet box for the wall control. From the attic he threaded electrical wire to the wall control box. 
The wiring for the wall control was connected. They then assembled the ceiling fan unit and the mounting rod and installed the ceiling fan. They then cleaned up after their work. The lead technician explained how the controls worked and demonstrated them.
The work was done efficiently and in a professional manner. The workmen were courteous and conscientious. The job took a bit over two hours.

"Their manager came to the house and he was very helpful and had some ideas on our kitchen remodel. Before he left he said he would have a quote by next week. I got a call from him that following week and said that our kitchen remodel estimate was running in the mid 40â s and thatâ s not touching the pantry. He asked would you like for us to proceed.
