"Jakubek did a great job on our basement remodel. David, Robert, Aric, and Tom showed up everyday on time, and were very polite, very quick, and very clean. They put down floor protection when they moved materials in and out of the house. At the start of each day they would explain what they were doing and at the end of the day we could walk through to check on progress and next steps. All of our requests were accommodated, and David was very responsive and flexible with change orders and a last minute decision that we made. Overall, the basement turned out great. It adds 50% more space to our house and provides a warm/clean place for the kids to play. If I could go back in time I'd hire David and Jakubek sooner."

The building is over 100 years old, so there were some challenges with plumbing, framing, and leveling, but Top Bros didn't shy away from any of them. "I can't say enough about these guys and wish I hadn't lost their contact information for a time. About 8 years ago, I had Sal and his guys do the finish work on my basement drywall that I hung. They also hung some drywall in the stairway going to the basement. Initially, they hung the soffit incorrectly but it was just a communication issue. I called Sal, he took a look and they came back and re-did it right away without hesitation. Their work has lasted this long without any problems. I started another remodeling project in my family room and needed a ceiling hung and finished, along with finishing some walls I had hung. Unfortunately, I had lost the contact information for Sal so I had to find another company. Long story short, this other company did an absolutely terrible job (Do not use NoticeTMA LLC for any drywall!). The family room adjoins the kitchen, and I had taken a wall down between them. I decided to carry the remodel over into the kitchen, and when it was time to hang the ceiling in the kitchen, I had found the old invoice from High Quality Painting and decided to see if they were still around. I am glad I did. Sal's son's came out to give me an estimate on my kitchen ceiling and also to repair the bad work in my family room. I decided to remove the new ceiling in the family room and have them do the whole thing. Their price was very competitive and everything turned out great. The old job didn't last 4 days without cracking. Luis' job has been up for a month now and there are no issues (and I am a very picky customer). I would highly recommend them for drywall hanging, finishing and repair."

"Juan and his asistants from K, B & D Remodeling, LLC, did a fantastic job in my home. I had hired another company to waterproof the basement. To prepare for the basement waterproofing job, Juan and his workers did the demolition: removing all the perimeter wall drywall and most of the drop ceiling in the basement. After the other company installed the drainage tile system, Juan and his workers rebuilt my basement, including framing out all new walls, putting up drywall, sanding and painting the walls, installing new drop ceiling. I also had them put in new plumbing (my house is old) in the basement as well as some new electrical lines, including a new 220 line for my basement shop. Part of the basement floor needed repair, so Juan did that as well. He and his crew did other repairs as well in the basement as well as doing some roof repairs. Juan was easy to work with. He always answered when I called. He took the time with me, answering all my questions. He does a thorough job,"

Plus, it looks like it's always been there, not like an addition. The carpenters worked hard to capture the essence of our original porch (from 1895) and the painter was very careful to match the original color scheme of the house. We could not be happier!"

"Things went quite well. The framing was difficult because walls had been cut in half to allow for water proofing. James is patient and has an eye for the details of the work. The drywall mudding and sanding was done until the walls were as smooth as silk, which makes a big difference when painted. He even repaired part of a door frame that was water damaged. But the most impressive thing was that on the last day he helped me clean the room that was coated in concrete and dry wall dust, getting on his hands and knees to wash the floor. He also helped me hang the heavy mirrors and flat screen TV. James burns is quite a guy."
