"We considered for a very long time on when we would remodel our kitchen. At last, the time came to decide on a contractor to do the work. Wendell checked out the reviews on Home Adviser and decided on a couple to check out. We were impressed with Yesteryearâ s reviews, and Andy Kopanskiâ s presentation. His price was within our budget (unlike the second proposal from another company). We did not realize with covid there are several challenges with the delays in shipments for cabinets and other supplies. We are so glad we hired Andy and his crew (Brian and Chris)! Andy always had a good attitude (even with all the additional challenges) and did all he could to make it easier on us. He and his crew were always respectful of our home and us. Communication was constant and timely, all questions answered and lists checked off. Their effort to keep down the dust and dirt made life much better for us. "It took awhile to get everything selected for the new design. Wayne started started when he said he would and was flexible as we needed a one week later start than his initial plan. He showed up on time everyday and stayed focused on our job. He takes care to keep the area as clean as possible. He puts down tarps every single day so that he is not walking on the carpets. We appreciated this approach so much as contractors many times act like it is an inconvenience. Wayne doesn't cut any corners. All the fine detail was done meticulously. The materials he uses are of high quality. We had one change order during the process to make our medicine cabinets recessed. It was going to add another day. He is very busy but took this in stride and made the change acknowledging that it was going to make the overall design that much better in the long term. His work is not cheaply priced but you certainly get the value that you pay for in his work."
