The space had to be completely gutted down to the studs and completely redone. The contractor we had used several times over the years retired, so we needed someone new who we could trust. Radical Renovations (Angelo) was recommended to us by N & S Supply in Kingston and I'm SO happy we hired him! He's professional, responsive, patient and finds solutions to all issues that invariably come up when you're dealing with old homes. Plus, the crew who he brought in to work with him was also pleasant and professional. I would absolutely hire Angelo again...in fact I already am!"

"Anton did a very nice job cleaning and staining our log home. It had been neglected by the previous owner and needed a lot of work. He also replaced rotted siding on our barn, fixed some significant structural defects and stained it. A nice job and finished in a timely fashion. Anton was here supervising the job all the time. "My wife and I hired Kevin Babcock General Contractor to construct a 3 season room addition to our home. Kevin quoted a very reasonable price, for the project which included a start and end date, for the job. The project was started and finished within the scheduled time. Kevin is excellent with communicating what is going to happen, on the project, on a regular basis. He also answers any question you may have during the course of the job. His people are very professional and skilled, at all aspects of the project. In addition to the construction Kevin also handled all of the paper work including filing the plans, which we had already prepared, through to delivery of the C of O. Kevin also provided additional value, to the project, which just made it better, at no extra cost. "Overall everything went well. They were very responsive, came around 8:30 each day when I was told they’d arrive between 8-9, and the owner checked in on the worker each day. I was pleased he put up a plastic sheet to block off the area while sanding so the dust didn’t end up all over. The person doing the work did need to borrow our screwdriver and use a garbage bag so it was slightly surprising he didn’t have everything he’d need himself. Additionally there are a few noticeable scrape marks in the mud which will need to be patched up. For the most part though we are happy with the work and how efficient they were."

"I was once told by a master stair builder that if you want to evaluate a general contractors work, look in the dumpster at the job site for an excessive amount of used caulk tubes indicating that they are covering up mistakes. Recently we completed a very challenging project that required the excavation under our old seasonal home in conjunction with a significant 2-story addition. After interviewing three reputable and recommended contractors, we decided to work with Dave Nessel, owner of Unique Construction. Dave presented a clear concise estimate of the scope for the work proposed, the costs we should expect and a timeframe for completion; all proved to be very accurate. He and his team of true artisans obviously enjoyed their work. Laughter and music would usually overshadow the sound of the power tools that were working in synchrony. The exceptional fit and finish in a clean and neat environment were easily appreciated. Dave is truly a meticulous visionary. During the project, he was never shy about recommending esthetic modifications which deviated from the architects drawings. Whether these change orders originated from him or us, they were never with exorbitant fees, but were billed for time and materials used. The final result far exceeded our expectations. "It went very well. Inson always focused on the highest quality products that would fit the design. Also tried to get each item at the better price. Additionally he was meticulous with the project and **** ** the vendors to make no mistakes and focus on a quality outcome. Finally Inson and his team were diligent to make sure everything was constructed in the right manner. In our case the proper wiring and safest plumbing. Always relied on master builders and plumbers who new what they were doing. The final outcome was above expectations. I would keep in mind any project like ours will cost money - we spent extra with Inson but in the end it was the right thing to do and well worth it."
