"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

"As above...simply marvelous. Eduardo is extremely neat, always cleaning up when done and placed materials and tools away properly. I had originally met Eduardo three years ago when my sliding glass doors needed replacing and ceilings, closets etc. needed painting. His English, at first, was difficult but since that time, he has vastly improved along with his personal talents and experience as a professional. His carpentry skills and his inbred abilities to do most anything are outstanding. He completed work (counters, seating, flooring etc) in my daughter's Cafe in ample time and nicely done for her grand opening. He's hung closet doors, sliding doors, installed faucets, exhaust fans. He's done some plumbing, tiling, a full shower with built in seat, interior and exterior house painting, rake boards, trim, a bit of electrical work, etc. He's repaired, retaped and painted several ceilings. He has replaced all of the rotted boards hither and yon throughout my property; from the front and back porches and decks, to the shed, to the front stairs to the trim around doors, windows etc. Eduardo, most importantly, is honest and trustworthy and, I must say, most respectful...always. I would not and did not hesitate to leave my doors open when I was out. My home was open for him. He takes pride in his work and has quietly done many extra things that have surprised me so. Example; my trash barrels have been brought in for me, my garden tools or hoses have been picked up for me. Saw dust, debris, dust and dirt have all been cleaned away. He is a good person, a hard worker, and is fairly priced. I would recommend him at any time. You may speak to me personally if you wish further information. He would have my number. I truly, truly, appreciate everything that he has done for me. Work still needs doing and he diligently is working on my list: fieldstone walls that need rebuilding, smoke detectors needing replacing, attic vent fan replacement, wallpaper removal, more interior painting, some high hedge trimming, mulching, edging etc. etc. etc. He will shine at anything and everything that you need doing. "Vanni was the person we were looking for on day one. He is very knowledgeable in multiple trades. He is not afraid to make a recommendation on design choices; he was absolutely right. Vanni is always punctual and neat. He helps organize the jobs and timing of the other trades. He reviewed all the plans for cabinets and appliances and was very accommodating to schedules and unexpected delays. Our kitchen remodel consisted of replacing everything including moving and replacing an exterior door. He installed our cabinets, back splash, new door, exterior wall repair, and flooring."

"My wife and I were considering having some remodeling done to our house but we were not sure how it would all work. A friend recommended we hire an architect or draftsman to help with the ideas. We submitted the request through Angie's and found Richard from iCornerstone. We live in Tyngsborough and he came to our house from Weymouth and spent the day measuring everything in the house and provided us with an outstanding renderings and diagrams of our house from all the floors. We didn't have any original drawings and neither did the town wit details. Richards work was exemplary and nothing short of outstanding. He really knows his stuff and he kept in contact the entire time. We asked for the changes and he made them to a second diagram with a 3D layout we could show to the contractors for the remodel. I highly recommend Richard and iCornerstone for any of your needs."

"I can't recommend JMS Partners highly enough. They were transparent, creative, reliable, diligent and empathetic at a time when my Wife and I needed help.
In January, we found out we were expecting twins which was great news. Unfortunately our home has been a renovation project on a house built in 1794 and the only suitable bedroom for a nursery had a 6 inch sag in the middle of the hardwood floor. In turn, all furniture tilted inwards, hardly ideal for swaddled babies. In March, we hired another contractor to come and do whatever was necessary to level the floor only to see him go completely dark (10+ calls with no response) on us at the time he was to come perform the work. With less than 2.5 months before the boys were due and not knowing how to fix the floor, we found ourselves in a tough spot. 
We called several contractors referenced highly on Angie's List but only John from JMS responded in a timely way. He listened to our situation, not only taking time to understand what was wrong with the floor but the implications to us if it wasn't fixed. Despite being extremely busy (as many contractors were behind because of the long winter), John cleared his schedule and came by a couple of days later for an evaluation. To ensure that the right solution was devised, he also had his colleague Tom come perform his own analysis at a separate time. A solution was devised which involved jacking and bending a large structural beam incrementally over a few weeks and, once straight, nailing LVL boards to the side to keep the beam straight. From a contractors perspective, I could see this being less than ideal as it required them to make a number of periodic but quick visits to monitor the progress and deal with building inspectors. Despite it being out of the way, they made the trips and gave routine updates all the time giving us honest assessments around the potential results. Ultimately, they completed the project 2 weeks ahead of our due date, under budget and in compliance with our town's building codes. Further, you would never know there was a sag in the floor and our twins sleep very well at night. 
These are truly good quality people in a time when that is very hard to find.

"Mr DeVaux did an excellent job on the finish carpentry work, painting and staining on a stain glass window frame install in an existing wall. The mitered corners had no gaps. Even though the job requirements changed somewhat there were no additional charges. I plan to hire him again on additional projects."
