"We considered for a very long time on when we would remodel our kitchen. At last, the time came to decide on a contractor to do the work. Wendell checked out the reviews on Home Adviser and decided on a couple to check out. We were impressed with Yesteryearâ s reviews, and Andy Kopanskiâ s presentation. His price was within our budget (unlike the second proposal from another company). We did not realize with covid there are several challenges with the delays in shipments for cabinets and other supplies. We are so glad we hired Andy and his crew (Brian and Chris)! Andy always had a good attitude (even with all the additional challenges) and did all he could to make it easier on us. He and his crew were always respectful of our home and us. Communication was constant and timely, all questions answered and lists checked off. Their effort to keep down the dust and dirt made life much better for us. Yesteryear did extra tasks to keep the project moving when supplies were not delivered on time. Good planning, good work, which resulted in a good project. "I'm a stickler on quality work and communication. Jeff is very professional and responds in a timely fashion. He is very up front, let's you know all the ins and outs of the project and will give his input when asked to do so. You can tell he takes pride in his work! I ended up getting several bids for this landscaping project, more than usual. Jeff was not the lowest bid and, in fact, he was in the higher end of the bids. I don't buy on price, I buy on trust, responsiveness, and gut feel. I was very comfortable with Jeff from the first time we met to review the project. His crew is next to none! They do great work, clean up as if they were never there and the overall product is fantastic. Although this was a few thousand dollar project, I realize it's still a "small" project on their standards but they treated me as if I were their only customer. During the actual project I added an additional tree and Jeff responded immediately, that same day in fact. The entire crew cares about my input and actually asked what I thought during the layout of things, even when the layout changed a few times before being finalized.
