Wonderful organization from start to finish

I've been doing my own home projects for over 20 years so I thought it would be tough to hire a contractor until I met Alex. From the initial quote to the last piece of trim he installed in our newly renovated kitchen Alex's work was impeccable. He completely renovated our kitchen and the scope of the project included adding an adjoining room that was separated by a bearing wall. My house was built in the early 1900's before there were codes. My upstairs was supported by 2 x 6's so Alex needed to install 2 x 8's plus add a 16'L x 14"H x 5" W beam to hold up the 2nd floor. I've always considered myself a resourceful person when it comes to figuring out ways to lift heavy objects but Alex resourcefulness definitely takes the cake. If you are looking for a contractor that you can trust, that can provide a fair price and do excellent quality work, Alex is your man.

We had been dreaming of a new kitchen for many years now. Itâ s scary choosing a contractor to understand â your visionâ and to charge them with building your dream as if it were their own. The time line for the remodel was aggressive and they actually completed a few days sooner. They guided us through the planning phase and provided us with a list of reputable suppliers. Tony and the guys always arrive on time every morning and get started right away and go over the the daily plan with you answering any questions you will have. They waste no time. They took great care in covering and moving our furniture around as needed. We want to add that during a time when masks were not required in many areas and Covid cases were on the decline, they were very understanding, careful and conscious of our 5 year old son who received a kidney transplant 12/2019. He takes anti rejection medications everyday to lower his immune system so his body doesnâ t recognize and attack his wonderful new kidney. They showed genuine concern whenever he was around with masking to help protect him a little more. They really got to know us and Mason. Everyday Mason would come home from school to â get to workâ with his play tools. Tony and the guys took him under their wing and made him an honorary member of their team. He was so proud to wear their work shirt. We also have animals and they were all wonderful with them. The dogs even got excited to see them everyday as well. Suzanneâ ¦ what can we say, her communication and professionalism is astounding. You have a question, she will get you the answer and pretty quickly! Mr. Joe Peller and his team did some exceptional work on our extensive basement remodeling project. Not only did Joe meet our needs as a whole, but he also was made logical suggestions and problem solved issues all while being open to changes and upgrades we determined were necessary as the project progressed. He was an open partner and attentive listener to both my wife's concerns as well as my own. His contacts for suggested upgrades for our custom bar top/built-in shelf tops proved to be worth the time and investment to the final look of our basement. Joe was always very easy to talk to, get in contact while offsite and responsive to the smallest details of our plans. He went above and beyond to make sure that in the end we were fully satisfied with his work. I would definitely recommend his services to whoever is in the market for remodeling their home.

New Leaf Construction, LLC, did an amazing job adding a family room to our unfinished basement. Josh and Shannon were respectful and friendly, punctual and timely, and (best of all) were within budget! The room was previously a DIY nightmare (previous homeowner), constructed of pallets and recycled construction materials. Josh and Shannon transformed the space into the most endearing part of the house. The recommendations of the floor type (tile, in the event of moisture), the color offsets (two-tones to make the room "pop"), the lighting (dimmable drop lights), and I can't forget the coup de grâce, the wrap-around, circular bar with the glass-block entrance. I had an excellent experience and recommend New Leaf Construction, LLC, to everyone!

My overall experience with Basement Gurus is amazing from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and thorough. Price is the best among the three companies I quoted. Dan Kelly (owner) is personable. He doesn't try to sell you what you don't need. Also, a shout out to Carlos (head crew) and his crew. He was very attentive to detail. Left the work area clean after each day. (They were there for a total of 3 days). I had french drains installed in 2 areas of my basement, and 3 underground sump pumps and 1 above. They were also there to seal the outside of my home where water was coming into the basement. Carlos sealed off all the areas and prepped them where he needed to work. What can I say? I am a very satisfied customer. Oh, did I mention the lifetime warranty on the french drains. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for basement waterproofing services!!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!!!
