"My wife and I recently moved into a new home and wanted a deck built onto our back porch. Luckily, we called Diamond Decks for an estimate. Donnie Ferguson came to our home surveyed our situation and offer us a scale model drawing of the size and deck type we described to him. We were pleased with his suggestions, his professionalism and his price. Within days of signing a contract Gary Short appeared with supplies ready to begin work. I cannot tell you how pleased we were with the work of Gary. His insight, skill and experience in building decks became extremely obvious from the start of the project. During the project, we changed our mind several times, adding on features and deleting others. This presented no problems for Gary or Diamond Decks and did not result in any delay in the building of our deck project. Gary helped us make some important choices along the way and also provided for us some unusual custom carpentry work not found available with most deck builders, such as drilling out and routing the railings and banister posts of the deck so as to totally hide the electrical wiring. Once the deck was completed to our satisfaction Diamond Decks quickly sent out a paint/stain team who rapidly stained in a two-tone color what is now the focal point for our home entertainment and outdoor living. In addition, at our request, the paint team also stained for us our yard fence, which had previously not been stained, and our porch ceilings to match our project. Our Deck is a beautiful two tone, three level Trex Deck with a Cedar Pergola, Cedar skirting, two attractive cedar louver-ventilated Privacy Screens, and it contains built-in lighting. It was an exceptional job, very professionally done, and it required no down payment. The payment was expected only when the job was finished to our satisfaction. Without reservations, we highly recommend Diamond Decks."

"mr. gonzalez did a great job selling me me on Statewide Remodeling doing the work. Only comment I have is with the restocking fee of 25% to change my mind. i got sold on the project but had second thoughts about cost. Presentation was so good that i ignored my business sense and didn't take a day to debated it to myself. I was going to delay the project but that restocking fee of $5000 was too high a price that I was forced to pay to simply say "wait" not cancel. It's legal and rightly so to demand it but it is a bit high considering a great company should have no trouble using materials on another job. If I'm asked by a friend if I recommend Statewide I would have to relate my experience with them. Only reason I rate your company a four star,not five. Finish job gets a five star rating."

"Champion was the 5th and final company I'd scheduled to get an estimate from. The salesman was very knowledgeable and my wife and I were impressed with the quality of materials we were shown and what their performance should be like. As part of the sale, I'd agreed to write a review, to which the salesman agreed to, in writing, that would be 100% mine with no undue influence by Champion to have me give them a review that was better than what they'd earned. Good, or bad, everything is in my words only. Every company we'd gotten estimates from, assured the windows came with a warranty and would be covered if there were any issues. Well, Champion actually had the written warranty of some of those other companies and after getting the chance to read them, I'd realized just how stupid I'd been for not actually asking to see them in writing myself. They were very well written by lawyers and gave plenty of ways to get out of paying for things, or accepting responsibility if we had issues with their product. Each warranty we were shown was multiple pages long with lots of fine print the further you read. Champion's warranty looked nothing like that. It is one page long and states very clearly what is guaranteed by their warranty. In fact, here is what it says: NO CHARGE for any necessary REPAIR. NO CHARGE for any necessary PARTS. NO CHARGE for any necessary LABOR. NO CHARGE for any necessary MATERIAL. NO CHARGE for any necessary removal of JOB RELATED DEBRIS. NO CHARGE for any BROKEN GLASS for UNLIMITED OCCURRENCES. NO CHARGE for any SEAL FAILURE for UNLIMITED OCCURRENCES. NO CHARGE for any SCREEN REPAIR for UNLIMITED OCCURRENCES. NO PRORATION. There are a few more details, but nothing out of the ordinary of hidden by legalese. The estimate we were initially given was higher than I'd hoped, but we were offered a first time only discount. That meant if we agreed to purchase from Champion we would be given a discount but it would only be good for that day. If we waited, say another week to make a decision, then that discount would no longer be offered. My wife hates sales tactics like that. The discount we were offered put Champion back into the price range we wanted. Between that, how impressed we were with the warranty and quality of the windows, we were sold. We didn't finance and paid a deposit upfront with the balance due upon completion. However, a final inspection by us, and a supervisor needed to be completed and signed off for satisfaction before the balance was due. Champion came back out to get their detailed measurements and we began to wait for them to be built. Every company told us the wait time for windows was long, maybe 6 weeks, give or take. We signed our contract March 5th and the windows were installed April 13th.the work took 1 day, although we were told it could take up to 2. My wife was the person at home when the windows were actually installed. Everything went smoothly. The workers were professional, got everything installed and left nothing behind. If there weren't new double paned windows, you'd never had known they were even there. They even replaced a piece of trim that had fallen off and I never got around to replacing. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with my purchase from Champion. The only reason I'm not going to give this a full 5 star review is because I haven't had to go through any additional process with Champion where I'd need to file a claim, or deal with customer service beyond the sale. Nor have I had the opportunity to see what kind of impact the new windows will have on my energy bill. I would definitely recommend Champion if you're looking into rreplacing the windows on your home. So far, everything has been a positive experience and am happy with the look and cost of my new windows."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."
