"Larry and the crew finished an approximately 600 square foot basement area including a bedroom/office, main room, and full bathroom. The job did take longer than planned but there were both supply issues and weather issues that slowed them down. The work area was kept fairly clean and they took pains to keep the rest of my house clean and protected throughout the process. I wanted this job done by the books and Larry went through the process of transferring his license to Johnson County, pulling the permits, and scheduling the inspections. The inspector was very complimentary about the work and I don not think there were any findings in any of the inspections, which tells me it was a job well done. We made several changes along the way including adding a linen closet and additional closet under the stairs, and changing the location of one of the walls. We also had to work through a couple of quirks that every house will throw at you but the team did a great job adapting. If I had to be critical about anything it would be inefficiency. There were lot of trips to the hardware store for supplies which may have contributed to the longer than planned job duration, however, that impacts IDC more than me. I trusted Larry and the team with my home and we are pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend IDC for any jobs you have in the South Kansas City area."

"We contracted Casey Construction for a master bathroom remodel that gutted it to the studs but left the same footprint--something that we would typically do ourselves but didn't have time for now--I call this out, because we're picky especially when it comes to quality. I didn't have a complete design planned out, but knew I didn't want a cookie-cutter remodel, so beyond the remodel construction, Julie Casey helped me come up with an up to date, attractive design with our stated budget that will hold up over time. The Casey's and the onsite crew were easy to work with from the beginning, always professional and we never had any concerns leaving the crew alone if we weren't home. Of course, I asked for changes as the work was being done, and the Caseys always provided quotes and alternatives up front so I could decide if/how we wanted to proceed. Even with our changes, they finished the project just one week past their original estimate but this was based on reset expectations. We're super happy with the results and workmanship, something we could tell everyone with the Casey team also took pride in. We love our new space! We have other updates in the future and will definitely be using them for these."

Our designer was very easy to work with and really went the extra mile to make sure he provided us with his own design ideas while at the same time incorporating them into what our personal style and taste are. It was great to have a design/sales person who stayed in touch with us and our project manager from start to finish to make sure the remodeling process was a good experience for us. "I wish I could give Pero more than 5 stars! Pero has added screens to our gazebo and his work has been outstanding. I found SH&R almost by accident one day online but we are very happy we did. Besides adding screens and a door to our gazebo, he also installed a ceiling fan and two outdoor lamps. In addition to our gazebo, he also installed for us a shower door for our basement bathroom and a sliding screen door at our kitchen. His work ethic, communication and capacity to pay attention to details are exemplary. Since day 1 I was amazed by how proactive he is and how he always wants to have a perfect finish product for the client. He definitely goes above and beyond to keep his customers happy. His projects are much more competitive than other contractors in terms of cost and the final product is just perfect.
