"My project goal was to build a new detached garage. The garage was 30x40, 3 bays, with a semi finished second floor. The site was located on a relatively steep grade where extensive tree removal and excavation was required. The project lasted 2.5 months and Ryan was one of the few contractors who meticulously quoted the project allowing him to not only present competitive pricing, but also accurate pricing. The project did not go over budget and was finished on time. Ryan's crews worked long hours through all weather. The few minor issues I experienced with the project, Ryan responded immediately and in person to ensure it was handled. "We were very happy with the price, product, and process that DiOrio delivered for our project. We had a fairly extensive remodel that required a near demo of our second floor in addition to a complete bathroom remodel with an extended floor plan. Derek & James estimated 2 months for the project and they hit that within about a week, which was appreciated because I know these projects can drag and we were temporarily living offsite. James did most of the work on our project, with support from others as needed. He's a talented carpenter with broad knowledge and good attention to detail. Communication throughout was truly excellent, which is also extremely important for a project with lots of moving parts. Construction projects are typically not typically "fun" but these guys are highly skilled and they work fast. Go in with a clear idea of what you want, realistic expectations (especially if you have an older hours), stay organised, and you will be very happy with result. "Excellent! We hired Sanfer and his team after meeting with him a few times and checking references. We really liked his can-do attitude and flexibility. He was easy to talk to and had some design ideas that we chose over the architects. He is a strong builder, meaning he doesnt skimp on making it well made. That was important to me. He has a really great finish carpenter too. Shout out to Edgard! Our remodel was a 4 room, bathroom, 2 floor addition (now a walk out basement/first floor) to accommodate an inlaw apt on the ground floor and office and living room on the first. We also had a small elevator added between the two floors. The pricing was right down the middle compared to others. The elevator installers remarked that the hoistway was the best built they had worked with, which was important since it needed to be within a quarter inch of plumb at any point. We used Sanfer for other smaller add ons and would hire them again for a large or smaller job."
