We were looking for someone to help with knocking down walls, gut renovating a kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as doing flooring and some work in bedrooms. This review pertains to the quote process. Eric Dutra was very responsive and professional throughout the process, offering insight and past experience as part of the quote. Furthermore, he gave a very detailed and transparent breakdown of the pricing on a line item basis. The pricing seemed very fair and jived with other quotes. we received. We ended up selecting another contractor due to time constraints, but would certainly look at D & R Construction for any future work."

I was also remodeling the kitchen for a family member who just came off long term medical treatments so I needed someone I could trust. Bob was great from start to finish. When time came for scheduling the job he was flexible with dates and time and he was clear and easy to understand on his costs. "They were very thorough. They went up onto the roof with an iPad and they took pictures of the whole surface of the roof and it was to show us that it was in good condition and didn't need any repairs. They came into the house and then went upstairs to the attic to see if they could see any holes from the inside and thankfully there was nothing there. What I really appreciated was they were thoughtful enough to put little bags over their shoes so they wouldn't get my carpet dirty when they came into the house. They were right on time."

"We were very happy with the price, product, and process that DiOrio delivered for our project. We had a fairly extensive remodel that required a near demo of our second floor in addition to a complete bathroom remodel with an extended floor plan. Derek & James estimated 2 months for the project and they hit that within about a week, which was appreciated because I know these projects can drag and we were temporarily living offsite. James did most of the work on our project, with support from others as needed. He's a talented carpenter with broad knowledge and good attention to detail. Communication throughout was truly excellent, which is also extremely important for a project with lots of moving parts. Construction projects are typically not typically "fun" but these guys are highly skilled and they work fast. Go in with a clear idea of what you want, realistic expectations (especially if you have an older hours), stay organised, and you will be very happy with result. We would definitely work with DiOrio again."

Eduardo did the painting and did a wonderful job and was very professional and capable. The price quoted and paid was very fair and the 3 rooms were done in one day. "Billy and his friend did a great job. They are professional, punctual, honest and do a good finish carpentry. additional positives are- Billy picked the moulding from the store , that was really convenient and they also give suggestions, if you are not sure like us that you are picking right moulding.
I wish our ceiling was little more flat, so that the joints in the crown were less visible, but they tried their best. Also a minor point but important that if you are doing something like us- putting crown and chair rail that will need painting, get it coordinated between the wood guy and the painter. I mean wood guy and the painter should talk and work together, rather independently.
