He came into a job that had been royally screwed up by a prior contractor (see review of Stevenson & Sons). "Just fine.  There were additional costs for new edging to match the new floor.  I think it was $70 extra.  He said he could dress up my step ups and I declined.  It was based on my schedule and it was sometime on March 11, 2016.  There weren't delays on their part, it was us figuring out when we were going to have somebody home.  He didn't grab the old stuff that was left on the porch and then there was a small piece of molding/edging behind the toilet that he didn't replace but I mean as far as everything else it was excellent but it wasn't perfect because of those two things.   The old molding/edging that he left on the porch should have been taken away.  Then there was that one piece that was difficult to get at and I would have expected him to replace that one piece of molding/edging. "

"Lux Renovations did an excellent job in remodeling my basement. David Guimares, together with Louis Villegas, did a very timely and professional job with installing an Owens Corning basement. They were very easy and courteous to work with and provided key input when needed for HVAC considerations. They worked well with coordinating electrical work and getting required town inspections done in a timely manner. In addition, David provided good suggestions to enhance our finished basement plans prior to starting the work, including how we may be able to reroute some plumbing to enhance our celling height. My wife and I (and are neighbors) are very pleased with the outcome of our finished basement and recommend Lux for remodeling a basement."
