Avi and David were wonderful; very thorough in explaining the process, answering all of our questions, and settling on a price that was reasonable and within our budget. During the building process, David was very responsive, available, and receptive to changes and last minute decisions made along the way. The project took longer than anticipated and there were some unexpected setbacks, but David and Avi worked quickly to fix issues and keep the project moving forward. At the end of the project they were very responsible about making sure we were satisfied with every last detail before completing the project. Our new home is beautiful and we're very happy with how it turned out, thanks to David and all the crews at So Cal Builders."

"We had a 50+ year old home that had not been touched since it was built. We planned an install to include new tub/shower, toilet & sink/vanity. Unfortunately, the floor in the upstairs bath had been repaired by the previous owner due to an on going (unknown to us) leak. So in addition to the planned remodel, we had to have the sub-floor removed & replaced. Kyle gave us the best bid and was able to easily work around our ever changing schedule. Kyle provided recommendations & measurements for the supplies and we were able to choose and purchase what we preferred. Kyle's crew was professional & polite. "I honestly don’t know where to begin. Working with Mike and HIC Builders to remodel my kitchen and bathroom was an overall amazing experience with so many positives. It was my first time remodeling my house. There were so many aspects of concern and stress. From the very first meeting with Mike, he completely put me an ease, and talked to me in detail on what they could do and the approximate price point. Throughout the initial phase, I contacted and met with over 6 different companies, and of course, the estimates that I received were all over the map. HIC Builders estimate was very manageable and, best of all, precise. There weren’t any surprises at the end of the remodeling job. What Mike said on day 1 was exactly what it turned out to be. After my meeting with all the other companies, I was debating between Mike and one other company. At this point, I also decided to downsize my remodeling to save some extra money. The other company was immediately hesitant to take on the job now that their profits had shrunk, whereas Mike was the complete opposite. He went into revision mode and was quick to come up with an alternate plan that we could do now that my budget had changed. That really impressed me. His ability to maneuver and work with different financial circumstances while maintaining a high quality of work. It also showed me that he cared about my project, even after the scope of the work had become smaller. I now know he has many projects going on at any given time, but you wouldn’t have guessed it by the attention and excellent communication he provides. I never felt like I couldn’t reach out to him for questions (and I had many) or clarifications in each phase. For me, choosing the right contractor came down to trust. I was remodeling from out of town, so I couldn’t check in on the process on a constant basis. Mike kept me informed every step of the way and eased my anxiety if anything popped up. If an issue or potential issue came about, he would bring it up to let me know this or that happened, but then he would tell me that it was no problem to deal with, and provide a solution as how he planned to work around it. The entire process was always transparent and clear. I could go on and on about what sets HIC Builders apart, but I hope this gives you a snapshot on why they are the right contractors for the job. I have zero complaints and they went beyond my expectations. Best of all, the end result looks like a million bucks."

"We just finished having our master bath remodeled by Golan. The workmanship is excellent.  We found them through Home Advisor, along with 3 other contractors. We interview with them all, got written quotes from 3, and chose Golan. The job was permitted and inspected. Jenny was our point person from Golan. She was very helpful and accommodating. My wife and I were responsible for procuring all the 'finish' items. Tile, fixtures including the shower valve, vanities, paint. All the rough in parts were provided by Golan.  From demolition to final inspection was just under 2 weeks. Aside from 6 people sharing one bathroom it wasn't too bad. If you are looking for a contractor for your remodel project give Golan a call."

"McGee Construction was an excellent experienced company that I enjoyed working with for my remodel. They were detailed in exactly what items would cost, but allowed room for changes. We had excellent communication and I appreciated their quality and professionalism. Each group showed up on time, demolition or installation took place on time or finished early. My remodel was a small project compared to others, but I never felt like it was, nor was I treated that way. I highly recommend them for a big or small project."

"Alex and Roger (the sales force) were very convincing, and George (the project manager) was very friendly and caring. The work force was very polite, but it seemed that the information about the project was not communicated to the people doing the work. The sales guys told.me they would be replacing 55 feet of trim, but only 15 feet was replaced. While they made it look good, I was expecting large pieces of trim to be replaced. Additionally, the guys were getting ready to leave, and they had not yet replaced a door frame that was included in the bid. They had not been told about that frame. They stayed late and completed it, and everything looks good. I am happy with the look of the trim, and delighted that I will not have to paint again for years."
