"First Class did a great job finishing out our kitchen remodel. There were a number of items left unfinished by another contractor that had to be addressed. There was a custom tile installation that was done beneath a bar that looks out incredible. In addition there was installation of wire-mold under cabinet outlets, trim work, tile backsplash repair, spackle and painting. First Class showed up on time, performed high quality work, cleaned up after every visit and worked within a reasonable budget."

"This was a major job (actually, four jobs), and Tony Martin and his staff accomplished it precisely as we had envisioned it and exactly according to our tastes.  We have an older home and are sticklers for preserving its character.  Tony Martin and his staff understood our needs and sensitivities on this issue--both in the design phase and during construction.  In particular, we were able to preserve existing cabinetry in our kitchen and integrate it with new construction in a relatively seamless way.  In obtaining new windows, we were able to match the existing window style in the rest of the house.  We were impressed with the skill and professionalism of the staff--from carpentry, to plumbing, to electrical work, to tiling and painting, to dry wall installation.  Everything was carried out diligently and according to specification, and every single staff member was polite and friendly.  The carpentry work was particularly skilled.  A number of problems required custom-made solutions, which were creatively and tastefully done.  There were unexpected problems that were discovered along the way (such as the old termite damage in our kitchen sub-floor, the hole in the roof above our bathroom, problems with the placement of bathroom lighting, etc.). Tony and staff dealt with all of these surprises transparently and promptly.  On several occasions small mistakes were made (placement of a cabinet, for instance); these were corrected without hesitation. The only negative I can think of was that there was some uncertainty about our start date, and communication early on could have been better.  But we are VERY pleased with our new kitchen, bathroom, closet, and storage area. In short, we would not hesitate to use Tony Martin again for any further remodeling needs and give him our highest possible recommendation.

"Family and Friends remodeled my kitchen, re-routed the bottom part of my stairs, and built a mudroom area for me and I could not be more pleased with the final result. I talked to a number of different contractors beforehand and ended up with F&F because they were responsive, detail-oriented, and had a great price. Billy connected me with his vendors who were all extremely reasonable and helpful in selections. His team was great at communicating updates to schedule to me, both before my project started and during the course of my project. I was living in the house during the renovation, and his team was respectful of my space, and did everything they could to keep it clean so we were minimally affected upstairs while they worked downstairs. They brought me questions when my drawings weren't clear and were very communicative about any items that we changed that would incur additional costs. Change orders were really minimal - for a project my size, I had anticipated much higher. Our project manager, Chris, came up with some great touches for how to finish a few items more beautifully, which really pulled it all together. Everyone that came to my house was friendly, hard working, and impressed me with their quality and expertise. I would 100% use Family & Friends again."

The townships onsite inspections always went well and we ultimately passed final inspection without issue. -Peaches was an outstanding designer/project coordinator who oversaw every step of our remodeling process, including working closely with me to review and tweak the project plan/contract; the demolition plan, the materials list, the final drawing set, the structural plan, giving in stream timeline updates, liaising with our tile/countertop supplier, Anderson Door supplier and stucco contractor. - Subcontractors are thoroughly vetted by dRemodeling and with constant oversight by the onsite project lead. - They double check and confirm the measurements for any 3rd party materials, such as the Anderson Door. - They were willing to work with us on jobs that were outside of their scope and the completed result was very well done. - Any issues were immediately and expertly resolved. Peaches and Tudor were able to improvise with various solutions discussed allowing us options to fit within our budget. - Additional cost relating to materials or miscellaneous (as noted in the contract) were discussed in advance and agreed to prior to posting an invoice. - They offer competitive pricing. - There are detailed documents for every step in the process which ensure no guessing games for the customer. -The team does a great job of always making the homeowner feel comfortable whether you are home or away. -dRemodeling stand by their work.
