"I have heard many horror stories about contractors.  That they aren't punctual, that they start a job and never come back to finish it, that the workmanship isn't great, that they bait and switch you on material.  NONE OF THIS APPLIES to HOMECRAFT REMODELING.  It was such a pleasure to work with Norman and John from the beginning to the end of the job.
I was looking to finish my basement and searched Angie's list for highly rated general contractors.  I found 5 contractors and had each come out and provide a quote.  Homecraft was not only the most competitive but they were the only ones who actually put together a computerized drawing (CAD) of the basement so I could see what they would plan to do.  With that drawing I was able to communicate exactly what I wanted and I knew that there wasn't going to be any confusion because it was drawn out for me. Other companies either just gave me a quote or scribbled a very rough drawing on paper of the basement. 
The craftsmanship was excellent and they worked quickly.  They communicated the project would take 4 weeks and they were able to knock it out in 4 weeks.  If I had a change to make here or there they were accommodating and understanding.  Norman, the owner, was great to deal with and so was John.  I was very happy that I chose to work with Homecraft.  The finished product was great.  I am thrilled with the work they did and HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU USE THEM.  They are a diamond in the rough on Angie's.  You would be silly not to use them as your contractor.

"I needed a lot of work and repairs done in my house. I called and met with Harvey about what I wanted to be done in my home, and two days later, the work was being conducted on my house. The significant items were that I needed new basement steps, and Harvey and his crew rebuilt all the steps and railings. I had my bathroom grouted, caulked, and repaired. I needed my kitchen to be refreshed and a new kitchen floor. In addition, the kitchen, dining room, lower and upstairs hallway, and living room were in need of repair and needed to be painted.
