I hired them for my home remodeling project including several bathrooms, kitchen, basement, roofing etc. They struck me as very practical and honest people - I still remembered the first day they showed up in my house. Baker used a tape measure running all over my house to do the exact measurement. He wrote/ drew all the small details on a thick note book and kept a file for each of his client. I have seen all kinds of contractors during my interview process - some used foot to measure, some used laser while some used satellite and fancy softwares. For serious project like this, I prefer down to earth and hardcore technical (later I found out Baker used to be an engineer in Germany). So here's the guy for us.
Throughout the project, Baker and Alex were very professional. They showed great empathy, good listening and very responsive. They always tried their best to help us understand the technicals / process and explored every possible way to meet our requirement. It doesn't mean that they don't make mistakes - but whenever that happens, they would sincerely apologize and make their best effort to fix the problem. This is also an important quality for me because it is very easy for someone to give an excuse or pretend not seeing it.
In addition, Baker also has great connection with vendors. We purchased many materials and fixtures from his contacts. Great design, craftsmanship and value for money. Also very happy about that.
