"BelMax did several projects for me including two major projects; (1) remodeling a basement bathroom with the addition of a shower and adding a second-floor addition to the house which became a walk-in closet. BelMax worked with an architect to get a solid design, pulled the permits, completed the work, and got the work approved. I am very pleased with the quality of their work. Throughout the job, the crew wore masks and shoe coverings when they worked inside, which I appreciated. They were also very clear about what was budgeted for each minor project so that later when we changed some of the requirements, we were able to work together to figure out the change in cost. Please note that some of the changes in scope were required. For example, after prior to the work stating, the architect said that we had to add another bedroom window to the house to meet city code. I recommend them and would consider them for work at my house in the future."

We entered a contract which they stuck by. The price to perform the remodeling was very, very fair. During the remodeling, a structural problem was found. They addressed the problem and provided me with options to correct the problem. These were structural issues which should have been addressed by their predecessors and was inconceivable that the problem could have been missed. Bryan's handymen, led by Jorge, were professional, timely, efficient, knowledgeable, artistic and neat. They did a fantastic job on my bathroom. I can't thank them enough. "This is the first time I've ever dealt with any type of professional remodel. I had trouble even finding someone to do the job. Since it wasn't exactly a large project, either no one would return my call, or they wanted to charge way more than it was worth. That's when I decided to look through Angie's list and I found Manfredia's Carpentry & General Contracting. They contacted me almost immediately and set up a date to do an estimate. Wally and his team were great to work with -- professional, courteous, and respectful of our home. Excellent communication throughout the process. Everything was done within the timeframe he estimated, as well as within budget. Wally is very knowledgable and quickly gained our trust. He answered all of our questions and gave us great advice. I couldn't be happier with the result. Our kitchen looks so much better and it will definitely add value to our home. "This was a major job (actually, four jobs), and Tony Martin and his staff accomplished it precisely as we had envisioned it and exactly according to our tastes.  We have an older home and are sticklers for preserving its character.  Tony Martin and his staff understood our needs and sensitivities on this issue--both in the design phase and during construction.  In particular, we were able to preserve existing cabinetry in our kitchen and integrate it with new construction in a relatively seamless way.  In obtaining new windows, we were able to match the existing window style in the rest of the house.  We were impressed with the skill and professionalism of the staff--from carpentry, to plumbing, to electrical work, to tiling and painting, to dry wall installation.  Everything was carried out diligently and according to specification, and every single staff member was polite and friendly.  The carpentry work was particularly skilled.  A number of problems required custom-made solutions, which were creatively and tastefully done.  There were unexpected problems that were discovered along the way (such as the old termite damage in our kitchen sub-floor, the hole in the roof above our bathroom, problems with the placement of bathroom lighting, etc.). Tony and staff dealt with all of these surprises transparently and promptly.  On several occasions small mistakes were made (placement of a cabinet, for instance); these were corrected without hesitation. The only negative I can think of was that there was some uncertainty about our start date, and communication early on could have been better.  But we are VERY pleased with our new kitchen, bathroom, closet, and storage area. In short, we would not hesitate to use Tony Martin again for any further remodeling needs and give him our highest possible recommendation.

They explained everything they were expecting to accomplish, from demolition to the finishing touches on the job. Pierce and Valero did a great job with the cleanup, too. They left nothing behind.
