"Tim completely gutted and remodeled our master bath as well as our kids' bathroom. Both turned out wonderful and we are very happy with his work. He put in ceramic tile floors, tiled both showers, installed tubs, toilets, vanities , painted, did all trim and hung all bathroom accessories. 

I also hired Tim to do handyman work, he installed new kitchen faucet, new light fixtures, patched drywall in our basement and painted. He also painted our front door and put new hardware on. Everything looks great.

Tim does what he says he is going to do and is very reliable and trustworthy. He is great with communication and pays a lot of attention to detail and does exactly what the customer asks him to do. He offers good suggestions when you're not sure exactly what you want to do.  He gave us a fair and  honest price and followed through with everything perfectly. He works really hard and rarely even takes a break ! I would definitely recommend Steger Renovations.

"We recently remodeled a 100 year-old Craftsman home. We initially discussed the project with Mose Troyer and were very impressed with his knowledge and advice. The project required replacing and replicating a considerable amount of the woodwork. Mose also modified the existing Shaker kitchen cabinets. Modifications included building new cabinets to match the existing ones. He also adjusted several cabinets while maintaining the original look of the cabinetry. Mose also completely built an entire wall of pantry cabinets in the Shaker style. He installed new baseboards and window trim. He rebuilt and repaired existing window trim in several other rooms. Mose integrated the repairs to the point that after painting no one could discern that the sill had been repaired. His work was flawless. In addition, he walled off a doorway and built a bookcase with enclosed shelves in the lower half. He installed 10 new doors with hardware in line with the original style of the home. He also installed two barn doors with hardware. He is conscientious and easy to work with. Without his creativity and craftsmanship the project would never have been as successful and we’re thrilled with the results. Without reservation, we highly recommend Mose for cabinetry/carpentry work."

"Cortez A1 Remodeling completed a front hall coat closet renovation for me that involved stripping wallpaper, removing stipple from the closet ceiling and sanding, priming, and painting, replacing an MDF shelf with red oak and mitre cutting PVC baseboards for the closet. Francisco and his dad, a master carpenter, also took care of the fine details for a staircase remodel, adding end pieces for unfinished edges. Cortez A1 Remodeling was on time, communicated well, and competent. I have other house projects requiring plumbing and electrical work. "Greg recently completed a major remodeling project of our second floor, which included the complete renovation of our two second floor full bathrooms, replacement of existing doors, and replacement of all of our trim in all bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallway. Greg also constructed framing and drywall, and a new powder room in our basement which connects our finished half of our basement to an unfinished half of the basement. The bathroom work involved moving walls and significant plumbing modifications due to the total reconfiguration of both bathrooms. We could not be more thrilled with our experience with Greg. His attention to detail and communication with us was second to none. We hired a separate design firm to prepare drawings and specifications for the project. There were a handful of issues that were design related that Greg would quickly coordinate with both the designer and ourselves to resolve the issues. Greg also replaced framing and drywall in our finished basement in 2016 which went as smoothly as this project.
