"We had interviewed a handful of contractors (the ones who actually showed up to the appointments we made). Some showed up and didn't send estimates or wanted to start without providing one. Or provided overpriced estimates. We were starting to worry...and then we found Arta Construction. We knew instantly we found an honorable, experienced and professional company. Andy is someone who you can shake hands with and know he is going to get the job done. The fit, finish, quality and attention to details were amazing. The heavy doors and special additions to our pre war apartment had a lot of tricky challenges to overcome - uneven floors, leaky windows and radiators - Andy and Arta had a smart solution to any problem and the end result was beautiful. We have a brand new and updated "old detailed" apartment. It is a dream come true. All this was accomplished during the challenging time of the pandemic with many additional restrictions put on us in a building with many, many rules. Arta always had permits in good order, followed all building rules and there was never a single complaint from neighbors. It is so important to have building management not take issue with your contractor. We had no problems at all during a major project. Communication was excellent throughout our relationship. The Arta crew always came to work prepared and with a "no nonsense, get to work attitude" that you appreciate. They value your time and money invested in your project. Our estimate was very reasonable and we stayed perfectly on budget. I highly recommend Arta for projects big and small. They are true artisans and craftsmen and take pride in doing things right and making it right for thier customers. My building super asked if my apartment could be used as a showplace for neighbors to see during construction because it was asked about so often when word got out about our progress. All of our expectations were exceeded. There was never a question or change we asked for that was ever refused. We have already engaged Arta to renovate another apartment for a family member. We are very happy to have Arta Construction as our contractor. They earned our business and will continue to be our construction specialists."

"The owner and his crew was professional and courteous and most of all very clean. Mr. Lionel took care of small projects such as replacing door hinges which was not on the list. I would recommend him to anyone who needs work done at their house. Looking forward to hiring this company again to complete drywall in other rooms. Sign "Rosie""

"I have never had the experience of remodeling a kitchen; and from what I had heard from people who did a remodel; it was a horrendous experience. I can truly say Homecraft(Norman) advised me through the entire process and I have nothing but positive feedback to give anyone who asks me. Norman’s staff of electricians and Dal his contractor were quite talented and professional. Overall I would highly recommend Homecraft for any remodeling project."

"I needed a lot of work and repairs done in my house. I called and met with Harvey about what I wanted to be done in my home, and two days later, the work was being conducted on my house. The significant items were that I needed new basement steps, and Harvey and his crew rebuilt all the steps and railings. I had my bathroom grouted, caulked, and repaired. I needed my kitchen to be refreshed and a new kitchen floor. In addition, the kitchen, dining room, lower and upstairs hallway, and living room were in need of repair and needed to be painted. I had my entire windows repaired and corked from the inside and the outside. Harvey and his men were very professional, polite, and extremely hardworking. They showed up every day on time and worked diligently through the day. Harvey offered good ideas and suggestions on my home improvements and repairs. I was thrilled by the outcome and the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them, and I plan to use them in the future."

"Total kitchen remodel came out as we had hoped.. Fine design workers were pleasant and always addressed any concerns that arose during construction. Finished on time and under budget.."

"For the very best value in home improvement construction, I recommend Roberts Remodeling because when you hire Robert Remodeling you get much more than just a contractor; from Planning to Design, to Supplier Negotiations, to Over Seeing Every Detail of the project, Robert delivers VALUE!! His experience, his special ability to recognize great design and complete difficult projects makes him the best choice! I chose Robert for my condo in Long Beach 13 years ago, and then this year 2020 he remodeled my new old home in Island Park with the same high quality, dedication, and skill! No reason to hire anyone else!!! My experience with Robert is not unique, I have referred him to many neighbors, friends, and relatives and they all have the same experience and reaction - they all loved the workmanship and VALUE!!!"

"I will start off by saying I think I might be the only person in history to say that the renovation went perfectly and I was happy with everything. Let me explain. Wanted a full kitchen and bathroom renovation. We met with Efren (the owner of Nunez Construction) and he had an energy that made us realize that he was experienced and also was open to some new and interesting ideas. He promised the project would be done in 5 weeks - it ended up being 5 weeks and 3 days - essentially on time. The work was flawless and beautiful. He added little flourishes like saddles made of quartz and shelves in an area where a cabinet would not fit. Additionally the measurements from the get go were perfect - the cabinets were the right ones from the beginning and everything fit perfectly in the space on the first try. There were a handful of additional costs - custom shower door, glass cabinets for a bar we built and the appliances (not included in the contract price). All in, Efren stuck to his price, time frame and promise of quality work. Everything from the craftsmanship to the painting were impeccable. What I also appreciated about him was that we stayed in communication with each other from the start. If there was an idea that we presented to him that wouldn’t work in the space, he would let us know and suggest a viable alternative. Great collaboration. Will definitely work with him and his crew again. Already recommended to friends and neighbors."

"Classic Remodeling Group just completed my remodel and I could not have asked for anything more from a contractor. They treated our project as if their own home, the workers all highly skilled and reliable and completed within the timeframe we were given. John and team are as professional as they get, I highly recommend!"

"I hired Long Island handyman construction group to remodel a 400sf basement and bathroom in Melville. They were priced in the middle compared to other bids. I picked them thanks to their out of the box advice which saved me thousands of dollars. There was one problem with the plumbing which cost an extra 1800 dollars. The owner settled with me 50/50 even though it was a pre-existing issue. The project was started early and completed early. All mess was cleaned up and the crew was very friendly and fully aware. Very reputable guys and very easy to deal with. Thanks Moises and Eddy."

"I hired Metropolitan Paint to build bookcases with library lighting, a hidden pantry closet, install new bathroom fixtures & paint. Their work was outstanding. Kenny checked in on the project daily, everyone showed when they said they were going to show up, they stayed on schedule and - most importantly - my Superintendent made a point of telling me how impressed he was with everyone's professionalism and will be recommending them for future projects in the building. No easy feat for a persnickety UES building that can try the patience of the kindest souls. I would absolutely recommend Metropolitan Paint to anyone for any job."
