"We hired Erik Quam from Titan Contracting to rescue us from a disastrous remodel that was started by another company. Erik and crew had to redo all of the inferior work that the other company completed, before their work could begin. Erik and his crew were always prompt, polite, tidy and gave our project their complete attention. Erik listened to my ideas and offered several great ideas of his own. After 7 months of dealing with a terrible contractor, Erik and crew finished our bathroom in about one month. Our new bathroom is BEAUTIFUL and the workmanship is outstanding. "This was the third time we have hired Val from Irish Accents and Renovations. The first time we hired Val was for a master bath downstairs, this time he did a renovation of one of our upstairs baths. He was originally recommended to us by friends at work. When we hired him the first time, we did our due diligence: got multiple reviews, checked references, etc. Now he is our go to guy for work. He is versatile, has an eye for detail and has high standards for his work. He is personable, responsive and welcomes discussion and collaboration. With this remodel, he demo'd the tile floor, portions of drywall and wainscoting and removed the vanity and fixtures. He opened a wall to inspect the plumbing, and removed the entry door. He installed a new tile floor over a waterproof underlayment (Schluter system), installed a new vanity, wainscoting and trim and reinstalled fixtures. Additionally he installed a new pocket door to ease entry to the bathroom. This required a consult with a structural engineer and at his direction the construction of a box header in the attic above the door, which Val completed without difficulty. He also completed some electrical work required by the pocket door and installed a new outlet, replaced the bathroom vent fan, installed new exhaust vent piping and painted the entire room, including ceiling. He is honest and provides cost estimates based on labor and advises on finishes while keeping your costs in mind. As I mentioned, this is the third time we have hired Val. At our recommendation he also did a major renovation of our neighbors master bath. Finally, Val is on site and does much if not all of the work himself. Val will be our first and only call when we consider future projects."

"I hired Ultimate Craftsman to tear down an old deck and build a new larger screened in porch with sky lights in it's place. The designer Dave really listened to what I wanted and got on paper my exact vision. The owner Mark always answered his phone and was quick to address any concerns. He used quality materials and professional craftsman. His carpenter John and his roofer Rodney showed great pride in their work. The end result was exactly what I asked them to build and we have received many compliments from our neighbors."

"After many meetings with contractors I chose to hire Tidewater ProBuild to remodel my kitchen. I found companies who offered me a cheaper bid at least it appeared so but as I asked questions it was clear the initial bid was a guesstimate one that would change with the details. All the companies subcontracted out a good deal of the work, this concerned me because it would mean several companies coordinating their schedules to get my remodel completed. Tidewater ProBuild has their own specialist inhouse. The other significant difference was the contract with Tidewater ProBuild was all inclusive. Initially I was overwhelmed with the information I was given and met with Trey twice for several hours just to review the information in the contract and to develop a picture of what I hoped my kitchen would look like when the work was complete. Trey used the computer program to show me how my kitchen would look, and he made changes until it was exactly what I wanted. I changed a few more times even after the remodel was started and he patiently made the changes. Trey, Caleb and Kevin all very experienced in remodels checked in with me each day keeping me apprised of what to expect the next day. They answered my questions and offered creative suggestions throughout the entire process. I now have a kitchen I love, and the job was done on time and slightly under my original budget. I got everything and more than what was promised in the contract. I am happy to talk with anyone about my experience and have let Trey know he can feel free to use me as a reference. The employees of the Tidewater ProBuild were all helpful; they never acted frustrated or hurried when I would stop and ask questions. I'm pretty sure every person employed with the company brought their special touch to my remodel. The men all worked well together and each one seemed to love what they did and took pride in what they were creating.
