"Austin, Orin and James were great to work with. Due to raccoon damage to the attic insulation and ceiling drywall all old insulation needed to be removed and contaminated areas treated. They installed new soffit baffles between each pair of rafters, sealed all potential air leakage points (e.g. around can light fixtures), ran all new insulated bath fan ducts (4) to soffit mounted valved vents and blew in all new insulation. Cost was very reasonable. Overall excellent value. Austin provided my insurance company with all necessary information so the claim was quickly settled to my satisfaction. "Harker replaced our 30-year-old furnace and 20-year-old air conditioner. Excellent experience all around. We obtained estimates from four local HVAC contractors, and Harker not only put in the most competitive bid (i.e., least expensive), they were also the most motivated to earn our business. We first worked with Grant, who assessed our needs and wrote the estimate. We appreciated that he did not simply try to sell us on the latest and greatest product; he actually listened to what our needs were and wrote the bid accordingly. He followed up after a couple of days to see if we had any concerns and ask if there was anything else he could offer to earn our business. None of the other contractors did that. On the day of the installation, the crew arrived on time, performed a quick assessment to make sure there wouldn't be any surprises (there weren't), and got to work. In addition to installing the furnace and A/C units, they installed new venting for the furnace and a new chimney liner for our water heater. They worked efficiently and kept our house clean. They were also friendly and courteous. Everything went smoothly. Nearly a couple of months have passed since the installation, and we've had no issues. Obviously, we haven't been able to use the A/C yet, but we're confident that all will be well when the time comes. All in all, we were very happy we went with Harker and would recommend them to anyone.

Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. "Heath saved the day! I was hosting a afternoon party and woke up to a 62° house. After contacting Angie’s list for emergency service they recommended Heath. He was here within 45 minutes after contacting. He was pleasant, professional and knows his trade. After diagnosing the problem he said it was the intake motor, he examined it finding a blockage which he removed then cleaned. He even went the extra mile checking to see if the motor was still under warranty In case it was compromised and checked back with me the next day. He didn’t charge me an emergency call only the service fee which was very reasonable.
