"Entered request to Home Advisor for a quote from Billy Don's Air at 7:15 a.m. Received a call at 7:25 a.m. same day. He came out that day did a thorough inspection of my current HVAC including under the house which two other contractors had not done. Complete replacement began at 7:30 a.m. the next day and completed by 7:00 p.m. He set up an in window temp 1K AC to keep my wife comfortable during the install. Mr. Armstrong and his staff were very personable and professional completing the HVAC replacement including correcting other problems he encountered not related to the HVAC. Received a follow up call the following day to insure the unit was functioning properly and that the cleanup was thorough. I will recommend to all I encounter."

"Paul and his workers were so nice. They gave me the best price for our new AC unit. I had received other estimates and Mays beat their prices by at least $1500.00.  I had electrical damage from lightening and had to have my deep freezer and my AC unit replaced. The day after they installed the unit I had to have emergency surgery and was in the hospital for over a week. Paul and his secretary contacted and worked with my insurance company and this was such a blessing to me because I was in no way able to handle all this and still be able to recover from my surgery. Because of the surgery and being out of work I was left short on cash and was not able to pay the entire balance of my $1000 deductible to Mr. Mays. He was so kind in allowing me to set up payments which helped take a lot of stress away from me which allowed me to be able to recover from my surgery and not be worried about the balance. "Mr. Coffee is a hero who risks his health daily to help mitigate dangerous radon problems for strangers who call for help. This is a dangerous job with daily high radon exposure and when I asked, he said he is aware of the risks but gets his health scanned multiple times a year. I called Covenant Air back in December after noticing that my Safety Siren Pro radon detector kept reaching alarm. Mr. Coffee came out and assessed that I could probably fix the problem myself by sealing some obvious cracks, especially around some pipes, and recommended the products so that I can do it cheap DIY. He was obviously not pushy to scare people into signing contracts, but actually tried to dissuade me from hiring him right off on installing sub slab depressurization. Although the DYI route he recommended would've been cheaper, I hired him to performs the job. The sealing did bring the radon level down where my detector's alarm didn't go off, but I wanted to lower it as much as possible. He then recommended a passive ventilation route given my reading. The passive ventilation again slashed the radon level in half, but I wanted the radon level down even further, so I ultimately opted to install the fan after weeks of data collection and analysis. He installed the fan so that I could easily turn it off to save energy based on seasonal variations. He is a very personable and methodical person, and prefers to monitor the progress of his work so that his customers don't hastily incur unnecessary cost. You almost never see someone like that in the service industry, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. Just trying to do more to help my Angies List customers!!******** I am a sole proprietor that works out of my home. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. I am always available, but don't always answer my phone, but if you leave a message, I promise to back with you as soon as possible...and figure out how to get your issue resolved in a quick, efficient and economical manner.
