We knew there was a leak in the system that was on 3 1/2 years old, but the previous company wanted more than triple the cost of three pounds of refrigerant. Further cost was a $300 diagnostic test to locate the leak and at least $500 to repair it. Ken made the same diagnosis, charged $30/lb for the 3 lbs needed to recharge the system and $175 to put in a leak stop chemical to stop the leak.
