Old units were replaced with new and more efficient units - TRANE 4 ton two stage SEER 17+ ECONET (condenser model RA-1748-AJ2CB, air handler model RH-2T-4821-MEACJA and communicating module Econet STAT model RETS-T601-SYS). "My home warranty contracted out the job to Phase II. Robert came to troubleshoot a 30+ year old AC unit and was very honest about everything he found faulty. He was instrumental in convincing the warranty company to replace the entire condenser unit rather than continue putting band-aid fixes to this ancient unit. Few weeks after he replaced the unit that cools the upstairs, the other unit that cools the downstairs fails as well (also over 30 years old). Since he was already familiar with everything, the second unit was replaced as soon as weather permitted. I didn't even have to be home the second time since the work was outside anyway. The promptness of his repairs can not be overstated. He helped get us back up and running as soon as the parts were available on the next clear day, which we couldn't be more appreciative since we have both a toddler and infant at home. Also, this was during a heatwave when most of the week was 90+. On top of this, my son's 1st birthday party was coming up and we needed the AC back asap. We can't recommend Rob and Phase II enough, a true professional"

"My first and second floors were on one heating/cooling zone. The second floor was always cold. I wanted to modify the ducts in a minor way to get more air up there, but Gerson convinced me that adding a new zone with its own thermostat and separate ducts and dampers in the basement made more sense. I liked his reasoning, and, 2 days later, he and his guys showed up and did the work. They were extremely responsive, professional, and careful. The new system solved the problem. I did not take the usual steps of getting competitive bids because the reviews for MDL were so positive. Now I concur. I can't say whether the price I paid was competitive, but I paid it cheerfully."

"Our furnace went out in the early morning in February 2021. After reviewing local HVAC companies, I put out some calls for service. The first technician noted that the furnace was shot (cracked heat exchanger) and was unsafe to continue using. It was under 30 degrees outside and space heaters only helped keep the house in the 50s, but this was considered an emergency job and needed to be done ASAP. I received several written estimates for replacing the furnace throughout the day (most of which were higher than I anticipated) and awaited the estimate from the first technician, I thought, why not try Home Advisor (which I've never used previously). After submitting my information in the evening, I was put in touch with Ross at Adriatic Heating and Air Conditioning within minutes. He came the next day and provided the most competitive estimate for a unit I was comfortable with on the spot. Although I understand from almost all of the companies I was in touch with that replacing the A/C at the same time was prudent, it also upped the cost substantially from this surprise need to replace the furnace. Ross also noted it would be prudent to replace the A/C, but noted that it would not be any problem to replace only the furnace at this time. We went with Adriatic and are extremely satisfied with Ross and his father (Sal). They were very nice and professional, did the job as quoted, for the cost quoted (well, $50 extra for an outside faceplate that the new high efficiency furnaces need...not a concern) and in the timeframe quoted. Ross had to return to replace the double electrical outlet on the furnace with a single outlet (town code), which was done no charge. I would absolutely hire Adriatic again and recommend them.
