The system locked up and they came out and I watched as they pulled an obviously old, worn, and burnt, electrical part out next. They replaced that part for the cost of the part and waived the labor as it was so close to the last service. The system is old and they were finding parts that were reaching the end of their life and replacing rather than trying to sell me a whole new system but let me know they would be there if I decided I needed a new system. "Paul identified and resolved several issues with my HVAC system. It is a three zone system with dampers, one of which had failed. Though he hoped to replace the server, it was non-standard and he had to cut into the plenum and replace the entire damper unit. Plus the layout of the system was such that access to the area was unusually difficult. He also serviced the outside condenser unit more thoroughly than I have seen over the years. And installed one wi-fi thermostat and moved another. I felt that his charges were very reasonable considering all that was asked of him. I have no hesitation to recommend Paul Bessey for HVAC work."
