"I had a problem with the smell coming off a GE combo washer/dryer that I had just bought. I was so worried that "smell" wasn't something you could get help with. I am very sensitive to chemical smells, and this appliance was filling the house with a chemical smell. I went into the shop on Dransville road to get help and after talking with them, they called someone and that person said no problem. The salesperson had me smell the insides of the machines on the floor until we found one that didn't give off any chemical smell. I might have looked kind of foolish sniffing machines, but it was actually brillant. They took the smelly machine back and used the credit for the new machine I sniffed out. Everyone was a s nice as they could have been. Thank you so much, Sterling Appliance!"

"Seemed to have done a very good job. I’m just curious why the business card given to me by the tech..Hamed has a different address 5422 Richenbacher Ave Alexandria, Va. And I question the invoice because it was sent to be electronically which was fine but it had a different telephone number under my name. And the charges $150 to diagnose but was actually applied to service provided, $150 and service to the GE stackable I was charged $150 for cleaning the washer and $100 for cleaning the dryer (only used a vacuum cleaner) and $125 to replace the water inlet valve Is Hotak Appliance Repair 5422 Richenbaker Ave Alexandria, Va and Hotak LLC 4507 S Four Mile Dr Apt 21 Arlington, Va the same company"

"Service was excellent. They sent several reminders confirming the appointment and the installers arrived on time and were knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. I took off half a star only because the fee seemed a little pricey, but I would definitely use them again for appliance installation or repair."

"GREAT SERVICE! Sami arrived on time and was friendly and arrived wearing a mask and gloves. He assessed the situation and started immediately replacing our cooktop. He was very careful in handling our new cooktop and careful not to scratch our wooden floors when he took the new cooktop out the box. After a bad experience dealing with Cinch home warranty service since October and there final decision to NOT replace my cooktop because they said my cooktop was not working because of a broken screw, it was a breathe of fresh air to have Home Sweet Home, provide such good customer service. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Sami is awesome!"
