Customers say: Super punctual
"Our refrigerator stopped working while under warranty. LG directed us to D&T, the local authorized service center. Dani in the office was friendly and helpful and scheduled technician Justin to come out on a Saturday. He was pleasant, considerate, and professional. Justin replaced the compressor and installed a motherboard update. The fridge is working better now than when it was new. We are very pleased with the service provided by D&T, definitely recommend them, and would call again for any future appliance repairs."

"I had a good experience using Remco Appliance Repair. Despite some initial problems being able to fit my new dishwasher in it's place Rich was able to work miracles and make it work! The dishwasher has been installed now for two weeks and seems to be working perfectly. I will be calling Rich with my future appliance install/repair needs."

"Tried to replace dishwasher myself, but fomer homeowner had questionable work that I didn't want to mess with. Searched for and found Randy Lane & Sons on Angies List. Al was dispatched same day. I explained what I wanted done, and how I wanted it done. He explained how one of my choices was prohibitively costly (for some reason the house supply was plumbed with 3/8" not 1/2" as it is supposed to be.) In the end he found a quarter turn shutoff in 3/8" inch, so he was able to fulfill my reqest anyway. Was charged for 1 hour of work and parts. The work was professional and quick."

"I purchased a range from Best Buy and the first company that came to deliver it installed it improperly. It also had a defect so when MN plumbing and appliance came out to install the new range they noticed the first one wasn't installed up to code etc. They couldn't install the new range with the existing hardware from previous job so they rescheduled the entire job, delivery and proper installation, for a day when they had more time. They also, to my surprise, insisted that I not pay for the installation etc. since so much went wrong which was not my fault. They worked **** ** my behalf and as a result I was charged nothing. THanks to MN plumbing for being so generous with their efforts and time. They were all really professional and kind."

"My freezer went out in the middle of the week, and after calling a couple of other places, I was pleased to find that SOS could send someone out as early as the next day. The repairman was prompt, professional, and concise. I noticed that he took his shoes off at the door without me asking, which I (and my hard wood floors) appreciated. It was about 30 minutes worth of work, which he completed in 30 minutes. I also appreciated the $20 instant discount for being an Angie's list member.
I intend to call them again with any appliance issues in the future.
That being said, I rated price a B, not because it was high, but just a really small thing I'd like to see improved for the future. Up front I committed to a diagnostic fee in the event I did not accept the service ( which makes perfect business sense and provides assurance that I'm a serious customer), but the repairman quoted me a price ( only verbally) that perhaps came from his computer or his experience, but I think I would have felt a bit of assurance myself to have seen a listing of prices next to services. Again, small thing, I'd still recommend SOS to anyone."

Yes, buying appliances in a bundle can save you money and reduce the cost per unit. Retailers often offer discounts when you purchase three or more appliances from the same brand together. This approach not only lowers your appliance expenses but also simplifies installation coordination, providing financial and scheduling benefits.
The best time to buy a new appliance is when your current one fails or during a renovation. Major shopping holidays like Black Friday and Labor Day offer seasonal sales with better discounts. Planning your purchase during these times helps you maximize savings and aligns with your home improvement plans.
When you buy a new appliance, many retailers will also remove and dispose of your old appliances when they come to install the new ones. To dispose of your old appliance yourself, start by safely disconnecting it. If it's no longer functional, you can recycle it. If it still operates safely, consider donating or selling it to recoup some value. Some retailers offer trade-in programs for discounts on new models. These options promote eco-friendly disposal and help reduce waste.
