"We highly recommend Mindy! We have bought and sold many homes and understand how important it is to have the right realtor. Based on reviews on Angie’s list and a phone interview that distinctly set her apart from other realtors, we knew we had finally found the right real estate agent. As out of town buyers, Mindy helped us get to know our new town and find the perfect location for our new home. We were extremely pleased with her expertise and attention to details through the purchase process. We especially appreciated her promptness in dealing with any details that came up during escrow. Mindy was very thoughtful and caring through the entire process of buying a home and moving into our new home. We will definitely use her services again!"

"I met Chuck while visiting one of his listings I found online. He was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around so I decided to give him a call back as I was looking at some other properties. After that, I spent about a year looking at houses because I am very picky and Chuck stuck with me the whole way and was very helpful throughout the entire process. I didn't quite know what I wanted but I knew I looking for something very specific that had to be something special. He probably showed me 30 to 50 houses throughout my search, never loosing patience or interest in my feedback. He made recommendations based on his knowledge of the area and was happy to show me anything I found on the internet as well. I often felt like he was just as interested in seeing the houses as I was. He even worked with my schedule squeezing in showings when we could find time.
My favorite thing about searching for houses with Chuck was that he is very laid back and fun to be around. He provides the professional knowledge and experience you want from a Realtor without ever pressuring me to make a decision. I always felt like I was visiting with one of my friends that happened to be a real estate professional and had a key to all the houses.
I finally found a house that I loved and he jumped on it. Less than a month later we closed. I had to do almost nothing accept get my documents together for the loan, show up to closing, and move my stuff into my new house. It's been 5 months now since I moved in and Chuck still keeps in touch and is very helpful with answering any questions I've had about being a homeowner. He's even stopped by a few times to see how things are going and deliver paperwork so I didn't have to go pick it up from the closing attorney.
I would highly recommend Chuck if you're looking to buy or sell a house!

"Erin is simply The Best. Having her by our side meant that everything was done correctly and on time. This is our second deal were Erin Melton represented our interests as a realtor, and we are definitely coming back to her for our next purchase."
You can estimate a bathroom addition’s value between 10% to 20% of a home’s value. But this also accounts for extra square footage since homes with more bathrooms tend to have more space. When considering adding one, you should know that a bathroom generally adds only $5,000 to an appraisal price initially, with adjustments made for other factors like local home values.
Garages increase a property’s value by about 80% of the build price. The national average cost to build a garage is $23,900.
However, on an appraisal, a garage contributes to the whole rather than as a part. For example, if you have a garage, your appraiser then tries to compare it to nearby homes with garages, which often have a higher value.
A bedroom can add anywhere from $10,000 to $25,000 or more to an appraisal. It depends heavily on the size of the bedroom, the overall home’s value, the location, and what amenities it might include (like a walk-in closet).
A drive-by appraisal usually costs $100 to $150. For a drive-by appraisal, the appraiser only visually assesses the home's exterior, in addition to reviewing the real estate records on the home and comparing it to nearby homes.
An FHA appraisal costs between $400 and $700. Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loans are usually less strict, so the appraisals are often more affordable. VA appraisal fees range from $425 to $900 for a single-family home. Compared to FHA loans, VA loans can be more involved.
A home appraiser will look at the real estate paperwork related to the home, but they will also do an exterior and interior assessment. Reviews include the square footage of the home and/or acreage of the lot, the age and condition of the home, construction materials used, the general state of the economy and local market, and the design and style of the home, along with any special features it may have. While an appraiser won’t be as thorough as a home inspector, they will likely notice very obvious problems and defects.
