Get matched with top carpenters in Hingham, MA

"As all the previous reviewers have said, DC 57 Construction is definitely a 5 star company. Lucas came to my home 3 times and helped me plan out the job. The job included: rebuilding a wood ladder to the upstairs loft, installing a railing and a new door in the loft, and adding shelves in the bathrooms. In addition, Lucas installed two railings for my back deck. Lucas and Tiago are both finish carpenters and they do excellent work at a very reasonable price. I am having Lucas come back soon to install a new screen door. Hiring Lucas and Tiago was definitely a great decision as my home looks much better."

"Gaby is excellent. He quoted my job accurately and honestly. He worked quickly and effectively- and was done in the time he had predicted. His work is stellar- we are so happy with our deck. He is also so kind and wonderful to have around. I highly recommend Gaby- I will use him again for all my carpentry needs. He is an excellent carpenter!!"

"Carlos and his team did an excellent job painting the exterior of my home. I am thrilled by the job completed. They were very professional, on time, and left the work site each day very clean. They were very easy to communicate with and I will use them for any future work."

"My experience with Sharka Construction was phenomenal. Ari and his crew rebuilt three decks. He was professional, thorough and informed me step by step the deck materials best for a lasting and durable for the cold weather environment. I trust his business and would use Sharka Construction again."

"Ryan did an excellent job installing my wood floor. He did a flawless job fingering in the new wood with the old wood. Work hard continually throughout the day. I appreciated getting the job completed in a few days I would definitely hire Romas again"

"Bob installed pegboard on the interior walls of our shed. He did a wonderful job. Before starting, Bob offered several options on how to install the material, which we then discussed, before agreeing on one. The work was done correctly and efficiently. Bob is a skilled and knowledgeable carpenter and pays attention to details. It was a pleasure to work with Bob and we expect to do so again on future projects."

"Bertie was recommended to us by a friend for some work that he completed in Jamaica Plain. We recently built a 2nd floor on our cape in Milton and needed walls and ceilings in three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a hallway and stairwell. Bertie was prompt with his bid and was extremely flexible with his start date. He was finished with the entire job in less than four days, which was incredibly impressive. In addition, part of the demolition included tearing down two walls on the first floor and a strip of drywall by the front door. Without asking, Bertie fixed those as well and included them in the price. Furthermore, we are installing a pocket door and need to wait for that before drywall goes up, plus our plumber needs access to the shower before the durock goes up, and Bertie has already committed to helping us with those issues as soon as they are ready. I would absolutely hire Bertie again in a second if the need ever arises again."

"We recently completed a gut reno and second story addition. After engaging 10 different contractors, MP was the most communicative, interested, flexible and competitively priced. MP has a large in-house team of experts that work efficiently and adapt to the home owner’s needs and preferences. The employees worked 6 days a week and took great pride in their work. They were personally invested in our project and wanted to make it the home of our dreams. The team includes an amazing designer, Nataly, who helped with selecting finishes. The onsite foreman, Adriano, demonstrated expertise and kindness. Seichelle and Marco did an excellent job with operations, ordering materials and problem-solving. We have been back in our home for 10 months. Anytime I have an issue, Seichelle and the team have addressed it. They have gone above and beyond what is expected. We could not be more pleased with our project. We strongly recommend MP for your next project!"

"Chris did an excellent job designing and building a new deck for my house. He also came to the rescue when having to replace exterior doors after a robbery. He was great at communicating different options with estimates. I really appreciated his punctuality, professionalism, and hard work. Would highly recommend!!"

"The carpenters were punctual, performed the work exceptionally well and cleaned up after themselves. They are a pleasure to work with, being polite and respectful. We would definitely hire them again."
