"John Matson is a perfectionist. And the work he did in my condo was perfect! He is a highly skilled carpenter. He was extremely professional and provided outstanding customer service. He was a delight to work with. I wish I had more work for him to do so that I could engage him again. I highly recommend him."

"Mr. Mendez and his crew did an excellent job painting my DC rowhome. After another painter left me in the lurch, Mendez was able to come promptly and give a very reasonable quote. Following a weather related delay, he and his crew showed up when they said they would and I'm very happy with the result."

"The job was scheduled a few weeks. out This gave us time to find a suitable new floor tile without too much of a rush. He arrived on time with one other worker and over the next few days they moved my appliances, tore my old floor down to the subfloor. Then they built it back up and tiled it beautifully. Mr. Leal was very polite throughout the entire process, from getting the estimate to finishing the job; and he did an excellent job of keeping us informed of the progress and timeline. Labor costs stayed within the original estimate, except for one additional plumbing issue that needed to be addressed. Material costs were also in the expected range. My wife and I are very happy with his work and professionalism and will keep him in mind for any future jobs."

"I was faced with the daunting task of remodeling my 40 year old homes exterior. There was a lot of damaged wood and made looking at this project very difficult. The team at Home Genius were very great at putting my mind at ease when dealing with the siding. There?s were very intricate details in finishing my project and the crew really did a fantastic job putting it all together."

"We contracted with Vazquez and Son to paint an apartment unit and complete a list of repairs and other items after a tenant move-out.  We have to agree with other Angie’s List reviewers that their costs seemed a bit high particularly when we realized the quote was for labor only. However, because of the positive Angie’s List comments and because they were able to begin within a few days, we proceeded.  We did receive an Angie’s List discount.  Luis and his crew were very friendly, responsive, punctual, polite, and they completed the work ahead of schedule.  Overall, we were satisfied with their work."

"I like a contractor that is simple, straight forward, no fancy sales pitch. I thought I needed the whole railing replaced. They stated that was a waste of money and just fix what I had for half the price. I like the honesty."
