"As all the previous reviewers have said, DC 57 Construction is definitely a 5 star company. Lucas came to my home 3 times and helped me plan out the job. The job included: rebuilding a wood ladder to the upstairs loft, installing a railing and a new door in the loft, and adding shelves in the bathrooms. In addition, Lucas installed two railings for my back deck. Lucas and Tiago are both finish carpenters and they do excellent work at a very reasonable price. I am having Lucas come back soon to install a new screen door. Hiring Lucas and Tiago was definitely a great decision as my home looks much better."

"Basement project: We met with Eric and he was our point person for the whole project. He and his team couldn't have been better. We were ripped off by another contractor a few years prior to this so to say we were gun shy was an understatement. Eric definitely made us feel comfortable with the whole process. The 2 guys who came in to do the carpentry did an excellent job, always included us on decisions, cleaned up after themselves, and were very personable. The quality of work was better than we could have ever imagined and the space looks awesome. They had to do some demo and redid a wall, added shelves and laid a floor. They stayed on track and on schedule and we felt the price quoted was fair and worth every penny.

The second project was exterior about a year later. We needed so panels replaced and repainted. Once again, on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Its hard to find a contractor to begin with and one that is honest and takes pride and cares about their work is a gem. We'll definitely use them again.

Before starting, Bob offered several options on how to install the material, which we then discussed, before agreeing on one. The work was done correctly and efficiently. Bob is a skilled and knowledgeable carpenter and pays attention to details. It was a pleasure to work with Bob and we expect to do so again on future projects."

"Bertie was extremely responsive from the initial contact and through out the job. He came on Saturday morning to check out the job and give an estimate.  He said he'd be there at 9, he was there at 8:55.  We had to replace a bathroom ceiling fan, which caused damage to the old plaster/wire popcorn finish ceiling. It was a small job but he was fine with that. He was able to schedule the for Monday. He should up again early and set straight to work. He put down drop cloths in the bathroom, prepped the ceiling and started patching it up. He was professional, courteous, friendly and highly knowledgeable. We would highly recommend him and hope to use him again soon for another larger project.

"Serpa construction responded promptly to my phone call for an estimate on replacing all the cedar clapboard on my garage, farmerâ s walk and the front of my house. Ronaldo arrived to give me an estimate on time. Right away I knew he was a true craftsman. He had all kinds of samples and great suggestions regarding what needed to be done. His price was very fair. Out of four bids I made the decision to go with Serpa construction. The project was started on time and the quality of the workmanship was truly outstanding. Over the years I have done some small projects myself, so I know quality work when I see it. Each and every carpenter that worked on the project was like fine clockmaker.
