Get matched with top carpenters in Wellesley, MA

"As all the previous reviewers have said, DC 57 Construction is definitely a 5 star company. Lucas came to my home 3 times and helped me plan out the job. The job included: rebuilding a wood ladder to the upstairs loft, installing a railing and a new door in the loft, and adding shelves in the bathrooms. In addition, Lucas installed two railings for my back deck. Lucas and Tiago are both finish carpenters and they do excellent work at a very reasonable price. I am having Lucas come back soon to install a new screen door. Hiring Lucas and Tiago was definitely a great decision as my home looks much better."

"Gaby is excellent. He quoted my job accurately and honestly. He worked quickly and effectively- and was done in the time he had predicted. His work is stellar- we are so happy with our deck. He is also so kind and wonderful to have around. I highly recommend Gaby- I will use him again for all my carpentry needs. He is an excellent carpenter!!"

"Work went very well. They were quite thorough and easy to work with. Very pleased with our new deck."

"We recently hired Bob (Pino Construction) for some electrical work, putting new chandelier and carpentry. I am glad that I found Bob for repairs in my house. Bob is very professional, punctual and friendly. He gave me some great ideas around house and completed all the work in timely manner. He is going to be my go to person for all future repairs in and around the house. I highly recommend Pino Construction."

"Mr DeVaux did an excellent job on the finish carpentry work, painting and staining on a stain glass window frame install in an existing wall. The mitered corners had no gaps. Even though the job requirements changed somewhat there were no additional charges. I plan to hire him again on additional projects."

"Mike and his team did a great job of upgrading our Westwood condo: the unit was beautifully repainted, hardwood floors were smoothly installed, and the master bathroom remodel was exquisite - all completed in a matter of 2 weeks! This was the second time we hired Mike in as many years (he did an amazing job with our house in Dedham) and both times, we were fully satisfied with the work, pricing and professionalism. I highly recommend his services."

"Excellent work! Very thoughtful, precise, and amazing carpenters -- I highly recommend."

"I had been compiling a list of projects /repairs for quite a while. Reached out to Todd Booth’s company based on the 5 star reviews! Working with these professionals was EXCEPTIONAL at the very least. My “punch list” included repairing/purchasing/replacing new doors, hanging a bannister, replacing a baluster, measuring and ordering an outdoor screen….hanging a light, plastering-painting and the hanging curtain rods, assistance with restoring bar stools …. Within days I was emailed a detailed quote on each project! Todd and Dave were punctual, professional, kind, tidy and just really nice people! Todd found little extra ways to make the home safer- adding an extra bracket to two bannisters that were not as secure as they could be/ nailing a loose piece of wood on stairway….the kicker was Todd searched and searched for the right window turn handles- and HE FOUND THEM!!!! Way to go Todd! Prices were on point! Worth every penny! My dwelling is back to feeling like a home - thanks to all their efforts!!!!! Can’t recommend them enough!!!!!! Hoping to have them back to assist with some interior painting this fall!"

"Excellent craftsmanship. Friendly, professional and talented crew. I'm extremely pleased with my bathroom. Highly recommend Hess Construction. Will definitely be calling again."

"I kept Marco abreast of the progress of the house purchase. About five weeks before closing  (a Friday), I called him and asked when he could start. He said he thought he would be able to start on the Monday or Tuesday after closing, but it might possibly not be until Wednesday.  I though great, he'll probably get there that week. He and the crew were there Monday!  Typical Marco- a master scheduler. This entire job took 7-8 weeks, and during that entire time I can't think of a day when his crew and/or his subcontractors weren't on the job. He clearly has an good relationship with his subs- they were always there when needed, often on Saturdays and even on Sundays.
The job was on a tight budget to begin with, and ran into some major unexpected expenses.  Marco understood my financial position, and he and his crew knew how to maintain a decent level of quality but still move at high speed.  When the unexpected expenses appeared, he still kept costs down. Is the level of finish perfect in all the details? No- but I got a whole lot for the money.  I've no doubt that if I had the money, and asked for really clean finish work,  they would deliver that at an excellent price. . I do know that all the guts of the house are very good quality- wiring, plumbing, insulation etc- you don't want to cut corners on these, and Marco would never would. Several times when I was leaning toward some cheaper option, Marco would advise against it so I would end up having to redo it in 5 or 10 years- excellent advise.
I counted on Marco to handle a lot of decisions that most home owners make themselves- lighting fixtures, paint and tile choices, etc. So many times I'd be at work worrying about what something was going to look like next time I was there; then when I did get there, I'd think, Oh! that looks great! Letting him make the choices allowed him to get good materials at the right price.
You can trust Marco to treat everyone fairly- you, his crew, and his subcontractors. When everyone happy, the job speeds along, and the cost is kept down. Count yourself lucky if you have him on your next job.
