Get matched with top carpenters in West Roxbury, MA

"As all the previous reviewers have said, DC 57 Construction is definitely a 5 star company. Lucas came to my home 3 times and helped me plan out the job. The job included: rebuilding a wood ladder to the upstairs loft, installing a railing and a new door in the loft, and adding shelves in the bathrooms. In addition, Lucas installed two railings for my back deck. Lucas and Tiago are both finish carpenters and they do excellent work at a very reasonable price. I am having Lucas come back soon to install a new screen door. Hiring Lucas and Tiago was definitely a great decision as my home looks much better."

"Gaby is excellent. He quoted my job accurately and honestly. He worked quickly and effectively- and was done in the time he had predicted. His work is stellar- we are so happy with our deck. He is also so kind and wonderful to have around. I highly recommend Gaby- I will use him again for all my carpentry needs. He is an excellent carpenter!!"

"Robert Pino and his brother were amazing not only did they do an impecable job building the shed but he also helps do another project redoing the bathtrom in the house. He was very responsive and fast about scheduling us in. I highly recommend them for future projects"

"My experience with Sharka Construction was phenomenal. Ari and his crew rebuilt three decks. He was professional, thorough and informed me step by step the deck materials best for a lasting and durable for the cold weather environment. I trust his business and would use Sharka Construction again."

"Larry just remodeled our kitchen and did an incredible job! He's extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, timely, and worked in an honest and professional manner the entire time. As first home owners, finding a good contractor isn't always easy and can be intimidating - but we feel we really lucked out with Larry. He also has a designer's eye and we felt that his vision for the home really matched with ours from the get-go. We'll definitely be recommending his services to friends and family, and we'll undoubtedly need his help ourselves again in the future!"

"Bob installed pegboard on the interior walls of our shed. He did a wonderful job. Before starting, Bob offered several options on how to install the material, which we then discussed, before agreeing on one. The work was done correctly and efficiently. Bob is a skilled and knowledgeable carpenter and pays attention to details. It was a pleasure to work with Bob and we expect to do so again on future projects."

"The job went well, very brief and surprisingly inexpensive. (I understand everyone has to live, so I expected to pay for a livelihood, but I was delighted to have my wallet only lightly crimped.) Bertie Walsh arrived around the agreed time.  I gave him the two grab bars the VA decided I needed in my bathing area, an old retired vet in a wheelchair, like me. I live alone, in a condo, so I needed a handyman to install them.
I'm glad I had a professional person install them because, even if I were fit, I surely would have botched the job. This place was cut up into condos in 1987. It used to be just a red brick factory-- originally constructed around the turn of the 20th century to work with Brockton by making those metal lacing eyelets for boots. They used metal--not plywood--when they cut the factory into apartments like mine (Bertie Walsh later explained to me). If I were doing the job myself I would have been expecting wooden studs behind the tile--which would have been full of exploratory holes when I got done.
So, I pointed to the bathroom, assured myself that Bertie Walsh had all he needed, and went to finish watching the program I had on, wondering what I had to offer Mr. Walsh when he broke for lunch soon. How pleased I was when that time arrived and he said the job was done and that I only owed him $50!
Bertie Walsh explained to me that the grab bars were firm, but that he had to install them in the metal. Should they loosen, over time, do not risk injury, by all means call him.

"A multi-talented contractor. A hard worker, very skilled at what he does and proud of his work. By the book and very thorough. Joe would give ideas and options to get the most what you want in the project. His pricing and quotes are reasonable, and actually very price efficient. His work for me included making a retail cabinet look like a custom build and also a frame and finish of a small home office. I would definitely consider using him for future projects."

"Serpa construction responded promptly to my phone call for an estimate on replacing all the cedar clapboard on my garage, farmerâ s walk and the front of my house. Ronaldo arrived to give me an estimate on time. Right away I knew he was a true craftsman. He had all kinds of samples and great suggestions regarding what needed to be done. His price was very fair. Out of four bids I made the decision to go with Serpa construction. The project was started on time and the quality of the workmanship was truly outstanding. Over the years I have done some small projects myself, so I know quality work when I see it. Each and every carpenter that worked on the project was like fine clockmaker. Every cut was precise, every board nailed by hand with stainless steel nails. I canâ t emphasize enough how outstanding the quality of the workmanship. I am planning on having Ronaldo return in the spring to do a number of additional projects on my house."

"We loved working with Clod and his team for our kitchen remodel. He listened to everything we asked for and provided expert insight. His quote was fair and he kept to the scope and time we agreed to. The CP team treats your home like it is their home. They truly care about proving you an amazing finished product. Highly recommend"
