"They did an excellent and clean job. The price is awesooome!!! I started by doing the ceiling and ended up remodeling other places in my home. I gave the contact information to my office maintenance manager and he was delighted with the work they did on the ceiling at my job."

"Angelo Natale has done a lot of work for me over the last few years. I don’t know what I would do without his expertise. He started helping by getting me to work safely and on time with snowplowing….but more recently Angelo diagnosed and fixed 2 problems I had in my home. One was a leak that ruined a ceiling and more recently with a major water pressure issue which almost broke my new heater. He averted a disaster! Angelo takes the time to explain everything. He’s patient with questions, extremely thorough and a genuinely good guy. I have more work lined up for him. Anyone would be extremely pleased if Angelo is on the job."

"Atlantic 1 and Eddie were referred to me by another happy customer who in return was also referred by someone who used their services. Quick to quote and book (especially when we had a water damage project and couldn’t wait around) , not afraid to take on challenges that other contractors wouldn’t work on, fast turnaround and good pricing. Would I use them again?: I’ve done a kitchen remodel with them, then a living room- from ceiling paint to floor install to closets remodeling, and I’m having them return for a quote on deck / balcony and gazebo reconstruction and new fence So yes.. I would definitely use them again!"

Small jobs welcome
"Don promptly called me after my initial contact with Angie's List. We set up a time for him to see the job and he arrived right on time. We set up an installation date convenient for my schedule. Don was professional, an extremely hard-worker, thought the job through before he started and completed each task in a neat and timely manner.
Upon his return, Don was able to bury the cable wire in my kitchen behind the molding. All the molding was perfectly replaced and caulked and it looks wonderful.
The thermostat wire needed to be run up and over one door frame and around the floor over two thresholds and down a long living room wall. Everything was finished to perfection.
The bathroom ceiling exhaust fan was quite an undertaking, but Don figured out a way to get the new fan installed in spite of the fact that there is no attic space in my condo unit. He patched all areas that he had to open up to enable installation of the fan and, though I've had the fan almost a year, it was worth the wait. It is "silent" and I absolutely love it. I wish I had found Don sooner.
I will definitely call Don again for future projects and my daughter intends to get an estimate from him for painting. I would confidently recommend Don to any homeowner who needs services for those "hard to do" projects. Thanks, Don, for a job well-done.

Ask the following questions to make sure you know what’s involved and that you’ve hired a good team:
Is your company licensed, bonded, and insured?
What is the best tile size for my project?
What fire rating do my ceiling tiles need?
How long will it take to install the drop ceiling?
What is the height of the finished drop ceiling?
Most residential building codes require a minimum ceiling height of 7.5 feet from the floor to the finished drop ceiling, ensuring adequate headroom and safety compliance. Since requirements can vary by location, consult your local code enforcement office or a professional installer to confirm the specific clearance needed for your project.
Installing a drop ceiling results in a loss of ceiling height ranging from 3 inches to 8 inches. The exact amount depends on factors like the size of the fixtures above, such as ductwork or lighting, and the manufacturer's recommendations for installation. Local building codes also dictate minimum ceiling heights, so it's important to consult with a professional installer to determine the optimal drop distance for your specific space.
Installing drywall costs between $1.50 and $3 per square foot for materials, labor, and finishing—significantly less than the $9 to $13 per square foot average for a drop ceiling. While drop ceilings come with a higher initial cost, they offer greater design flexibility, easy access to utility lines, and are simpler and less expensive to repair. To minimize expenses, consider budget-friendly fiberboard panels, though their appearance may be less appealing to some homeowners.
Drop ceilings offer several advantages and disadvantages.
Pros:
Easy to install and repair
Conceal stains, ductwork, and other unsightly elements
Provide quick access to ducts and wiring for maintenance
Available in various styles to suit your design preferences
Cons:
Reduce ceiling height
Tiles may require replacement after a few years
Less sturdy than traditional ceilings
Installation can be more time-consuming than drywall
Removing a drop ceiling costs between $2 and $7 per square foot, which includes disassembling the rail system and removing tiles. Factors such as ceiling size, accessibility, and disposal fees affect the total cost. If you're removing a drywall ceiling, expect costs of $2 to $4 per square foot. Hiring a professional ensures safe removal and proper disposal, preventing damage to underlying structures.
