"If you're looking for the cheapest option, Lux isn't for you. You're paying for quality, workmanship, speed, and professionalism. I hired Lux to renovate an unfinished basement space (one main room, one large storage / utilities area, and a laundry space. "KDK is a family owned local company that is totally devoted to excellence. Dave and his team were amazing and made sure that we understood what was happening every step of the way. This was a full master bathroom remodel beginning demolition to remove everything down to the bones. Dave assisted with selecting all of the required supplies - tile, vanities, tub, toilet, lights, mirrors etc but all decisions were ours to make. We used Dave’s network of suppliers for the additional work required. We needed an electrician (MRS Solutions) since we opted for a heated floor and also a separate contractor (Brown’s Glass Shop) to install the glass shower. Everyone recommended by Dave was top notch and I will use them again for any projects that requires their expertise. To sum it up, we could not have asked for a better experience and to top it off Dave and his team are extremely friendly and personable, our dogs would welcome them back each day. He went above and beyond to explain everything in detail from A-Z and made sure you understood everything presented on the table. "Ethan, the sales associate did a great job explaining how Renken does their work and the selection of patterns was in the color range that my wife was interested in. Mahadi was the installer and did a superb job. Great eye for detail and excellent finish. He asked questions to confirm what I wanted or to clarify something. He got the job done in 2 days which included removing moldy green board, replacing one stud which had mold. He treated everything and then did the sealer before installing the finished surface. One other thing...we covered everything in the bedroom with drop cloths but we didn't have a lot of dust. Mahadi didn't use a sledge to knock down walls. He cut out each section and carried it out of the house, minimizing the amount of dust and debris. My wife was REALLY HAPPY about that. There was a little mix up on the shower style but that was resolved the next day by Dan. He was punctual and made sure that everything operated as desired. Amber and Ebony in the office do a great job. Amber does the scheduling and Ebony does the customer service. Both are tops and really make a difference to make sure that my wife and I were satisfied. We are happy with the workmanship and service. Yes, I would recommend Renken to friends and have already had a personal contact ask who did our remodel."
